What's new

Pakistan today conducted a successful test of Fatah-1 - ISPR

As of now the goal would be to transform the IEA talib forces into a formidable military machine. They have the training/weapons/moral. Only thing remains is to become a professional united unit with discipline within their ranks.

The IEA military forces should be transformed into a force similar to the IRGC of iran. Maybe something call the Islamic Emirate Guard Corp (IEGC). A trained unit of 100k men equipmed to the teeth with the latest weapons. We do not need 2M men. 200k well equiped soldiers from Pakistan and 100k well equiped men of the IEGC/BADRI 313 can get the job done.

A specialized motivated well equiped operative trained in night fighting is more useful than 20 untrained unmotivated men.

These soldiers would be on the frontline supported by PAF jets/armor/artillery/missiles as well as SSG/ISI/Advisors. They will be the tip of the spear.

Ofcourse they need to be disciplined and transformed into a professional armed forces they do have professionals like Badri but the remaining needs to be fine toned.. The Iranians are not war ppl tho nor gifted in that arena historically speaking.

2M not all active but reservers but once the reservers is called in everything must reach 2M + paramilitary like FC

Not really.
Nasr carries a much heavier warhead than Fateh.
In fact Nasr rocket motor burns a full 4 seconds longer than Fateh.
Nasr = 10 seconds
Fateh = 6 seconds.
Even then Nasr has shorter range.

Nasr is 8+ mach but I couldn't find anywhere about Fatah specs?

In boost phase may be . However highly unlikely. For comparison, Russian Iskander rocket with much bigger motor has initial speed of Mach 7 . After boost speed reduces as no thrust is being generated.
Terminal phase speeds are low Machs , may be mach 2.

Noob questions:

Why do we target static targets? Is it to simulate targeting static enemy troop concentrations? Could the same system be used to take out moving armored/mechanized columns? If so, how could the trajectory be adjusted? PS. any estimates on how long it takes to hit the target at maximum range or would that be classified?

These would be used to strike static targets. Moving targets would be extremely difficult to target with ballistic missiles. It would only make sense to use them against armored/mechanized brigades if equipped with a tactical nuclear warhead.

For moving targets we have UCAVs, Fighters, and Cruise missiles.

both are very different system ... Fatah-1 draw its technological lineage from Nasar Missile ....

What does that mean? Is Fateh 1 a tactical ballistic missile too? I don’t understand when people say Fateh 1 is similar to Nasar can you please explain. Thanks

Its both very Easy and Difficult to explain .... Every Missile is basically a Rocket but every Rocket is not a Ballistic Missile, keep in mind both use rocket motor.

In reference to unguided Rockets it is easy to understand as Guidance is the main factor which create differentiation b/w Ballistic Missile and unguided Rocket, but now rockets are also guided for example Bora Missile/Khan Missiles, SY-400 even Nasar are Guided Rockets but are considered as Missiles, actually this category is very murky and therefore guidance could not be taken as the ONLY Standard Differentiating Factor to differentiate b/w Rocket and Ballistic Missile now Range and Payload are also the Factors which play role in categorization of Rocket and Missile.

For ease of understanding any ballistic vehicle powered by rocket motor with less than 300 KM range and payload capacity of less than 500 kg could be included in the category of Guided Rocket.

Kid i would recommend to get out of your diapers first here on PDF. The person you abused and insulted is 1000 times more knowledgeable than you. Loose canons like you who cant control what they type dont last long here.
Can the supposed abused and insulted one not speak for himself without you trying to blow smoke up his backside.
