Let the U S stop the sale----. Pakistan must increase the production of nuclear weapons by at least a 1000%.

So if the U S wants to cut off the conventional power base---no problem---let us increase the nuclear threshold---.

Simply answer is J-10 is just not as good as F-16. And PAF loves them, some F-16s

On Paper J-10 B maybe just as good and in certain aspects like AESA radar even better than F-16 Blk 52s.

But western weapons certain refinement about them, that Chinese or even Russians can not match. And only a operator who has operated both types of weapons can tell.

PAF as of now needs, night time, precision targeting capabilities for bombing its tribal areas. Thats is why it had ordered 6 dual seater and only 2 single seater F-16s.

After operating F-16 for more than three decades, PAF is not really impressed by Chinese avionics, targeting pods or precision weapons.

On Musharraf's insistence Pakistan had signed a deal for 36 J-10s in 2006 itself, but even after decade the deal hasn't come to fruition. That is because PAF is not to inclined in investing in another Chinese system, when it was only a very modest upgrade over it own Jf-17s.

But now most likely they won't choice anymore.

Most Indians prefer PAF stick with F16, thsts funny.

I don't know where to begin... first of all... Jf blk 3 will never be a 4.5 gen... in spite of upgrades... but it can serve as a good interceptor... what's the purpose of mounting 4th 5th gen fighter when the fighter is less capable than rival ones... example a Rafale would find and fire a bvr way before Jf or mig 21/27 search for a target

That would mostly depend upon the Bvr missile being used.......plus nobody said jf17 Blk 3 would be 4.5....it would be somewhat close to 4+ but with high capable missile systems which can be deployed on jf 17 Blk 3 will cover some capability gaps....refer to quwa website to gain a better understanding how jf17 was supposed to be used....

Couple of questions

1. Why is all of south mostly red? Despite having greater pop of blacks as compared to blue states
2. While I agree republicans are conservative but conservatism and racism do not necessarily overlap do they?

Original republican values as espoused by sane republicans likes of McCain, Romney etc stand for smaller govt, lesser taxes, strong military, less regulation and literal interpretation of constitution of United States. Bigotry and likes of tea party values are temporary fads and Trump is something else entirely. He is as much a democrat as a republican and took the fractured playground of republican primaries as platform for his candidacy as Hillary was too tough an opponent on the democratic side.
