ohhh J series only comes under5gen fighters...Russia doesn't know how to make jet because of that they are pirated chinese jets and released junky versions which is over hyped than original technology....and Russians are proud even they copied entire jet(scan -print)....

But I would just go back to the topic say, instead of bashing US, you should be thankfull... If you want to discuss f16's and MKI's .. there are enough threads on the topic... go ahead and post there, you will find enough support from windjammer who will be the expert on MKI bashing along with you....

The biggest concern is Pakistani incompatible and relatively weak air-defense systems, I think Jordan is a good example to follow, since Jordan couldn't fund getting similar numbers and types that IAF has, it turned to acquiring the most modern and effective air-defense systems with large numbers to fill the gap that Israeli air force superiority poses on Jordan. So, Air-force and air-defense complete each other in this case. Pakistani airspace would be prohibited from Indian jets if it has S-400, SAM-17, Pantsir-s2 in large numbers.

Eversince PAF inducted US fighters in her service they have been quite impressed by the performance. That is why whenever they get their hands on the US fighters they prefer them.

Whenever a new fighter system is to be inducted their are certain things that are kept in mind. Such as ease of maintenance, reliability of the weapon system, expected service life of the system, performance of the system and the capabilities of the system.

When you look at these criteria than you should know that US fighters are better in these qualities than other countries systems. That is why PAF is obsessed with them.

Plus we have more than 60 F-16's in our inventory (32 old one, 14 EDA obtained from USA, 18 new block 50/52). The numbers are expected to increase. Considering our doctrine these numbers are sufficient to make India think before doing any thing stupid.

His question is logical. the F16 block 52 are useless against USA. there are strings attached. F16s are not at all advantage over Indian fighters like Su30 mki or Rafael or pak fa which are going to be inducted.

Pakistan is not planning a war against USA.

F16 block 52 are not for the US, they are for India.

In India's case it's Money in - Crappy 3rd generation out

Or Money in - Crappy 4th generation PAK-FA out.

And those USED jets can tackle any of India's jets, anytime.

Yes, even if those numbers weren't there, we would still think before taking any action unlike some losers out there.
