I don't know how authentic this news is, but it is very welcome if true. It doesn't matter if the current radar has lesser range. The increased endurance will increase the No Escape Zone (NEZ) making Thunder a more lethal platform. And NCW means even an AEWACS can provide mid-flight course correction, if PAF has such a capability. Likely, Chinese engineers may accompany the shipment if any help is needed with integration. AVM Shahid Latif was saying in a recent interview that (reproducing his words as best as I remember) "We have a test rig with LRUs in Kamra. You can bring any LRU and test its integration".

Here is the comparison R-77 speed is mach 4
But the speed of R-77PD is 5 mach which is very much better than that of its previous version.

J-10C is what we should be looking at, emergency or no emergency. In this whole scenario, one thing is clear that F-16s are indeed restricted as was evident from the statements of US defense officials. No country can look into the way the end user uses the equipment unless bound by certain clause in the agreement. Either Pakistan should had rejected this completely calling it an undue involvement in our affairs, if we didnt that means usage of F-16s are restricted which than raises the question why? and now what?

About the authenticity of the news , last night I saw and talked to many and many reported this that paf has indeed purchased it, although they said for source count on me,
I'd still take it with a bit of salt but it was spontaneously reported by many and should it be true , Our AWACS from western Punjab and sindh escorted by PL15 carriers could strike IAF craft 100 km from int border while being 200 km in our own borders
