Honestly.... I've heard is IMO not the most reliable proof for a possible acquisition, which I rate highly unlikely.

Chinese awacs has 600 km target acquisition and guidance range. Meaning we can fire missiles hundreds of kilpmeters away without lock on and awacs can direct those missiles towards targets while keepikg safe distance.
