LHC hearing to remove Nawaz from ECL

Repeating a rumor without any facts does not make it true.

Any accusations made without proof that impugn the honor of a high court is a violation of law, and both the purveyor and the forum are liable. @AgNoStiC MuSliM Please be careful.

High Courts have the authority to work at an accelerated pace of their choosing.

A) BS
B) Same as above
C) Same as A

Also, I have noticed you have been raving about "the law" to be followed, please enlighten me with that law.

Last but not the least, you responded similarly on one of my post and wasted so much in back and forth, I explained you earlier and will try one last time. This is a public form, people join it raise their voice and expression their opinion. And I am not bound to prove ABC to prove anything, yet I share multiple source. Simply put, if you dont like my post than ignore and move on, whats the big deal with it?

Will angry PTI fans attack the courts in Pakistan? They had attacked PTV and Parliament before as well.
I think courts should declare him innocent and release him if establishment wants that rather than sending a convict out of the country

A) I have heart it from many, for instance like the following (from 3:40 and onwards).

B) Neither its an accusation, nor it needs any proof. All it needs a few active brain cells to connect the dots and do the analysis, thank God I have ability to so it. Also, if this is accusation than more than 70% data on PDF should be considered as "accusation".

C) Listen to the following, wherein Attorney general of Pakistan said, that court gave them notice at 2 PM asked them to show up at 4 PM. Why? Where in the world does it happen apart from Pakistan? Where in the world court puts onus on other party like this? Why LHC always speed up the process for hearing whenever petitioner? Why they work on Sunday's when petitioner is PML-N?

We have to work with the system we have. Judges will eventually retire and/or be removed if misconduct charges are brought against them. Yes, we (PTI supporters) may not like the decisions of the judiciary in some cases, but we still have to respect them.

What you could do is debate/discuss reforms in appointment of judges and increasing the overall quality of our lawyers/law schools and therefore the judiciary.

The political landscape in Pakistan so much polarised that most people including journalists and anchors have lost the sight of “Humanity”.

I consider myself a human being first and foremost. Even if we agree with the PTI narrative that the Muslim League –N politicians in general and Sharif family, in particular, are the biggest rogues on earth; it does not imply that Nawaz Sharif should be allowed to die unless he coughs up a 7.5-billion Rupee guarantee?

Do not Imran Khan and other PTI stalwarts know that if Nawaz Sharif absconds, NAB and the courts have full authority to confiscate his property? And if Nawaz Sharif comes back after treatment, would Imran Khan not be able to claim that Nawaz Sharif indirectly owes his life to the magnanimity of the PTI leadership.?

But alas, like most Pakistani politicians including the Sharif family, Imran Khan Niazi is also turning out to be a narrow-minded vindictive person without even an iota of the milk of human kindness.
Niaz sahib, when you commit crimes and are convicted you lose certain freedoms. No one is denying Nawaz the right to seek treatment in Pakistan or abroad, but asking for some kind of a bond from a convicted criminal in order to be allowed to travel overseas is absolutely justified.

The State has a responsibility to do whatever it can to ensure that convicted criminals do not find a way to evade punishment, even while addressing issues like necessary treatment abroad.

Finally, the optics of this precedent are extremely poor from the perspective of the average Pakistani, especially the poor and lower middle class - innocent people who cannot even afford proper healthcare while living freely are seeing this as an example of the wealthy & influential being treated by a different standard. Court cases being heard in amazingly quick time and convicted criminals being allowed to travel abroad for ‘treatment’ without any conditions, while the poor suffer with what they have.

Nawaz has been convicted and sent to prison, not a resort where he can have his pick of which level of concierge service he wants.

Imran Khan has done nothing wrong here.

Please keep in mind that politicized courts are not unique to Pakistan. Take the example of the US - the Supreme Court has 5 conservative justices and 4 liberal justices. The Republican controlled senate held up Obama’s appointment of a SC judge because they were hoping that a Republican would become President and appoint a conservative (which is what happened). Many times decisions are on a 5-4 vote against the liberal point of view. Many Americans may disagree with those decision and justifiably blame the Republican Party for the situation because it could have been 5 liberals and 4 conservative judges had Obama’s appointment not been held up. But at the same time they respect those decisions and that is how a civilized society works.

Instead of maligning the judiciary, we need to discuss what kinds of reforms can be out in place to reduce the degree of partisanship on the courts (in my view this goes back to reforming law schools and stricter standards for lawyers to be able to practice).

We should all wait for LHC to write a new history in Pakistan legal system.
LHC is famous for its weird judgement. The possibilities of weird judgement increases many folds if the petitioners happened to be Butt brothers.

NAB has presented its argument that Nawaz is a convicted criminals and cannot be allowed to leave the country without surety bonds.

The comparison with Musharaf are not valid, Musharaf cases are still on going, he is not convicted. NAB has also said that it is the responsibilities of the Federal Government to produce the accused for trial proceedings.

I am certain despite no precedence in the legal history of Pakistan, the LHC would bend over backward to allow Nawaz to leave the country.

Welcome to "Banana Republic of Pakistan".

It would be interesting to see how LHC could make this possible

There are loopholes in law, left by makers to facilitate themselves.Govt is also acting strangely enough.
Putting everything solely on LHC is wrong, everyone is playing it's part.

The ball will bounce back to Islamabad high court. LHC is under microscope and giving the impression of Nawaz /PMLn B team.

Ball will end up in Supreme Court.

Government will appeal all the way to the SC if lower courts order ECL removal without bond.

What if government doesn't appeal against this decision or prepares an extremely weak case?

Money talks , Shahbaz Shareef apply for hearing in LHC and within 24 hours judge give approval and listen the case next day ................. lol

Is IK ready for political suicide?

And it's between NAB and Courts. Condition of bond is from NAB.

Musharaf was not convicted and sentenced to jail.

Nawaz is a convict.
