Kabul set to launch efforts to ‘isolate’ Pakistan

They do know that we host over 3 million refugees and many unregistered whom they begged us to keep on our economy. Not too mention the cultural ties from our pashtun lands and double not too mention that what diplomatic pull does Afghanistan possess. An international campaign from Afghanistan is a joke. The world will care when it wants to care.

And what about ttp hiding in Afghanistan and NDS protecting them.

Immature statements from a war torn immature nation.

.
Why is Pakistan hosting millions of refugees from this ungrateful country called Afghanistan?

Throw them all back.

Sir poor Afghan refugees have nothing to do with this fiasco. Afghan Govt is towing the line of India under the amount of dollars stuffed into their mouths as usual to cover up their own incompetence. Its quite funny that U r hosting Ur nationals in large numbers in a country which U dub as enemy and hostile.

.
pakistan can expel them

Its a matter of more than 30 years long issue. its not so straight forward.
They are not ready to go back. they are spread in whole country and many has got fake/fabricated IDs as well.
How ever now LEAs are tracing and pushing them back but still its a long way to go.

.
President Ashraf Ghani took a complete U turn after coming to power from his predecessor and openly announced to engage with Pakistan for the sake of peace and even turned his back on India. where did he go wrong? He can blame himself or Pakistan but its not a good sign for peace in the region.

In typical regional fashion, he has also started to interpret diplomacy, erroneously if I might add, as a zero-sum game. The only difference is that he is not only under pressure by external powers but also his domestic constituencies who have their own vested interests in the direction of the country. Right now, there is rising discontent in the North, the brother of the Sher-e-Panjshir, a man who commands significant influence is openly lambasting Ghani and his government.
These factors and a lot more, including the need to justify security shortcomings and ANA's lack of meaningful successes against the Taliban and other insurgent groups is leading Ghani in a tight corner. In such a situation, anti-Pakistanism is the one sure card that he knows he can play to pull some fringe elements into his government's orbit, and that's exactly what he's going to do.

.
Afghanistan has deep cultural links with Pakistan's Pushtun areas, Pakistan has always had a major impact on the events in Afghanistan, it is impossible for any regime in Kabul to reverse this immense influence, isolating Pakistan at regional/international is a distant dream !!!
Pakistan's civilian and military govt will do what it can to stabilize Afghanistan and bring peace there, quadrilateral dialogue is a brilliant example of that, some elements in Kabul regime are more loyal to other countries than to Afghan people, thus you hear news like this !!!

MOD EDIT: LANGUAGE. They always back stab Pakistan . Pakistan is already providing them a lot support and help also trade million of there refugees are still in Pakistan . When ever Pakistan try to bring peace in Afghanistan Indian intelligence RAW uses its agents and do a bigger terrorist attack on Afghanistan and they put the name of Pakistan on it . Its ridiculous and its a shame

ISLAMABAD:
Kabul intends to launch a concerted diplomatic campaign to isolate Pakistan in the international arena as well as in the region, a spokesperson for the Afghan president said on Saturday.

“Pakistan still supports groups involved in fighting in Afghanistan,” Dawa Khan Meenpal, deputy spokesperson for President Ashraf Ghani told the media in Kabul.

The comments came in reaction to the April 19 attack in which 64 people were killed.

The spokesperson alleged that the deadliest attack yet in Kabul was “planned by the Haqqani network in Pakistan.”

“Afghanistan is reviewing its policy on Pakistan,” he said, according to Radio Azadi.

“Pakistan is in the state of isolation. We want to use diplomatic initiative to isolate Pakistan at regional and international levels and to tell the world community where terrorists are and which country and intelligence (agency) support them,” Meenapal said.

He said Kabul had always asked Pakistan to seriously fight terrorism, but “they have backed terrorist groups and facilitated them.”

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had condemned the “heinous” attack in a message to President Ashraf Ghani and called for “coordinated approach” to eliminate terrorism.

Meenpal said Pakistan had “always allowed its soil to be used by those who fight (against) the Afghan government.”

The spokesman for Pakistan’s foreign ministry’s did not respond to a text message when asked about the country’s response.

Afghan Taliban had claimed responsibility and said three bombers had taken part in the attack and that it was part of the group’s Spring Offensive.

@RAMPAGE For your kind Info. Remember our last discussion on this subject ?

Why is Pakistan hosting millions of refugees from this ungrateful country called Afghanistan?

Irony is Haqqani members travelled to Bahrain & Saudia to collect funds while Afghan taliban is proudly living in Qatar. Yet axe seems to fall only on Pakistan who is only doing what Qatar is doint at the moment.

President Ashraf Ghani took a complete U turn after coming to power from his predecessor and openly announced to engage with Pakistan for the sake of peace and even turned his back on India. where did he go wrong? He can blame himself or Pakistan but its not a good sign for peace in the region.

Ashraf Ghani is a toothless tiger. If his entire team were sincere to make amends with Pakistan, Afghani establishment including NDS+Northern Alliance would not have leaked mullah umar death thereby derailing the whole peace process. Do ponder on what if Peace process continued last year, we would have seen some superficial peace and normalcy by now. If Afghans dont want peace themselves and wants to back-stab Pakistan every time. One makes wonder what their true objectives are.

It happens when you don't pursue single faced policies. Haqqanis are going to Haunt us for a long time to come.
And it is not the first nor the last effort

I'm going to repost one of my argument from another thread. Perhaps it will bring clarity to you about Pakistan reluctance

Can you guarantee If we eliminate Afghan taliban upper leadership, the disgruntled mid and low level soldier along with their foot soldiers in Afghanistan wouldnot be used against Pakistan by NDS and RAW ? Because AT would want revenge and NDS has amply showed they are very much capable of using Good and Bad Taliban both against Pakistan. Can you or your government give this guarantee that you will not flame the baloch and Pashtun belt of Pakistan by using disgruntled Talis along with the Good Talis of Pakistan ?

You see this is one of the major reason Pakistan is holding itself back, because whenever you got a chance to make Peace with Pakistan. You instead tried to fcuk with us. Be it during last year negotiations, where the thick headed officials of yours leaked Mullah Umar death thereby derailing the complete process or the agreement with ISI. Or using Good talis as per Afghans against Pakistan or helping RAW to destabilize baloch belt.

Afghanistan trying to isolate Pakistan is not in the best interests of the Afghan public especially in light of the fact that we have millions upon millions of legal and illegal Afghans living in Pakistan with 100s of thousands more trying to come in every year. We have been hosting and looking after them for decades with a weak economy. Please don't make life difficult for them.

No worries everyone. Afghanistan has been trying to isolate Pakistan since August the 14th 1947. And guess what? It hasn't worked. So nothing new here. The Afghan government may seek the approval and acceptance of the west but Pakistan doesn't. Apart from China and Turkey, Pakistan could not care less about our relationship with any other nation on earth.

It seems the Afghan government suffers from western saviour complex. The western nations will save the Afghans from those "evil and menachical Pakistanis" and make Afganistan like a european nation.........lol.

.
Surely the word are put in this mouth by Indians...........who letting them believe that Pakistan is in Isolation Stage in World......:omghaha::omghaha:

. . .
I would still rather deal with them than the Taliban.

Finally a sane voice here :)

- Pakistan and Afghanistan are having major differences and they will need to work it government-goverment.
- We cant live in state for hostility for perpetuity and thus need to be frank with each and find a work around.
- Those advocating emotional argument need to realize that we as neighbors are here to stay and thus need make it work one way or the other.

.
Send back their 5 million refuges and their gov will automatically crash and burn.
Then our army can do the rest.
Seriously dude someone needs to send these brainless azzholes back to their motherland.

.
Its unfortunate Afghanistan is towing India's line, as such will not bring any benefits to Afghanistan in the long term, They need to realize if Pakistan closes the border and stops all trade, it will be disastrous for Afghanistan.

.
Why can't we put Afghanistan to its place? Right we would need a government for that. Unfortunately our government is busy hiding their corruption and accusing the opposition of creating chaos.
No wonder countries like Afghanistan likes to take shot at us because they know well enough nobody in Pakistan is going to do anything about it.
