No, its your right to hate AKP. Whom am I to say anything?

The problem I have is understand Turks' reasoning.

Many secularist Turks hate AKP because they are ...bogeyman..."Islamists" (which, as I said, is a ridiculous, meaningless word coined by retarded westerners)..

Moreover, I don't understand..people who bash AKP..I ask them, what is the best party in Turkey? And guess what? Most of them agree "AKP is still better than CHP or MHP"

So, whats the problem then? Criticize AKP and Erdogan so they improve..but not outright 'bash' the "best available" party in your nation. Duh!

You tell me, why do majority of opposers of AKP hate it if its not for the retarded notion of them being non-existent "islamistsssss" ..?

I see it this way; 1) some countries in the world want to see Erdogan gone. 2) People of Turkey know Erdogan did good things for the country, even anti-Erdogan people will have a hard time denying that. 3) many countries are admiring Turkey's progress, you don't have to look much further than this forum where many muslim members have spoken positively about him. 4) Also take into account how the west and its media is almost always negative towards Erdogan and Turkey's progress in whatever field.

All these things tell me one thing; foreigners see the potential of Erdogan better than Turks themselves. yes, the man did wrong things, but we know that htere is no alternative. Furthermore, despite the corruption (which is not 100% verified yet, but i think those tapes are true) he did many good things for the nation, unlike many of his predecessors. This puts us in a miserable state that we have to turn a blind eye to this corruption issue, but then again, what gives the guarantee that such scandals won't happen when Erdogan/akp is gone and someone else comes to power who doesnt do much for the nation, but yet steals and steals? People nowadays are so blinded due those corruption scandal, gezi issue and whatnot, that they simply want him to resign, but what then? what's next? it seems there are not many people thinking about that phase.

For me, despite disagreeing with Erdogan on many things (Syria issue, corruption scandal, too much focus on Arab nations, no interest in Turkic brothers at all etc.), he managed to sustain growth and stability for Turkey which will be profitable in the future, much to the annoyance of the countries that have a beef with Turkey. I will eat my shoe if countries such as US, Israel, European countries and other rivals/enemies would say that they love Erdogan and wish him to stay for as long as he can. As always, if the west suddenly disagree with/objects us, it means often we are on the right track.

sorry for shamelessly going al-hasani style on you guys.

Now i know you're a pkk supporter, but it seems you have the wildest fantasies to exaggerate the situation in Turkey, just to win sympathy from foreigners.

You're right about the 90's Turkey. There were mistakes, no one can deny that.

It's 2014 now and the situation of the kurds is MUCH better. kurds can live and work everywhere, towns are also given their kurdish names, kurds have their own parties etc.

Despite all of this kurds seem to be happy in Turkey. As i said before, there was never a 'kurdish spring' in Turkey, the kurdish parties never received much support from Kurds as you would expect from 'oppressed' people (ironically AKP, a Turkish party, is most famous in south east, way to show your anomosity and protest against Turkey). It even gets better; if that kurdistan will come on Turkish soil, i can bet all my possession on it that the kurds in west Turkey will never leave Turkey to live in the south east where there is almost nothing significant to live on.

Idc what you will ramble about in your next post, but the facts that the kurds in Turkey never rose up in a 'kurdish spring' way in the last 30 years and the fact that kurds had the chance to vote on the kurdish parties, but voted Mostly Akp says all what is needed to know, no matter what excuse you will use now. If i was an oppressed minority, a Kurd in your case, i would never ever vote on a Turkish party to protest Turks.

You live in a dream world buddy. First and foremost, PKK has majority of support from Kurds. Essentially this is the reason the turkish state is forced to sit down and negotiate with PKK and the Kurdish people leader whom they called a ''baby killer'' for 30 years. Indeed, the struggle for freedom was tough but the end result was worth it. Aknowledging our leader is a great step towards stability.

Secondly, if you want to, we can through it city by city in the Kurdish regions and we will quickly realize that PKK has the majority of support. I have done this with numerous turkish members on this board and they were all willing to aknowledge that indeed BDP/PKK had the most support among Kurds. Or you could just look at this map

A third thing: You say that there is no discrimination towards Kurds. Can you back this up with neutral sources? I have several sources indicating that Kurds are still second rank citizens on their own soil: Kurds in Turkey face widespread discrimination - Channel NewsAsia

Your next reply better have some sources linked to it otherwise I am not interested in wasting my time with your dream world propaganda. You are not actually achieving anything by it. Oh by the way, I made a topic about ECHR judging Turkey to be fined for killing a Kurdish child of 12 years old. When was the last time turkish police killed a Turkish child of 12 years old?

One of my friend is like you.

When i talked him about the tapes, he said it's forged.

I said "What if they reveal pics" He said "It can be done with Photoshop"

I said "what if Erdoğan cames here personally and shits into your face".... he said nothing this time. :D

This puts us in a miserable state that we have to turn a blind eye to his bad things,

Nope, at least i won't. That mentality will rot us from inside.

And ro what extend we will turn a blind eye.

- Will you turn a blind eye is he removes all the Ataturk pics from buildings ?
- Will you turn a blind eye if he declares sharia ?
- Will you turn a blind eye if he order the assassination of a opposition leader ?

To what extend...

Wrong is wrong my friends, we don't have the luxury of turning a blind eye.

Well find one judgement from ECHR against PKK ;)

What the Hell, Bahoz.... can't you see the topic of this thread ?

Listen to this dude, Turks!

Thats exactly what my point of view is. Erdogan is no saint, but he is the "best available" option Turkey has right now. So people who want him gone must come up with a better option or stop bashing him and destablizing the country. Criticize Erdogan..make sure he doesn't exceed his powers..but don't do things that will only harm turks and turkey's future.

4 different laboratories confirmed its authenticity, but of course you can believe whatever you want. :)

Nope, you are Islamist. And took us as anti-Islamists. It's true that we don't like Islamists but we set our priorities for our country, not him being Islamist or not.

You are retarded.

There is no such thing as "islamist" ...such terms are coined by west since they don't understand Islamic World very well.

Stop this bullshit.

Its kinda like saying "Oh Hitler, Stalin, and Churchill? Oh they are all christianists...yeah christianists"..See, how retarded I would look if I started seeing things in this manner?

You look the same.

In West, Bin Laden, Mursi, Hamas, Erdogan, and Saudi Royal Family are all labeled "islamists" Tells you how meaningless this term is.

Moreover, you are a nobody. Majority of Turks chose AKP and Erdogan over you retarded bullshittry. So live with it
