Well, i supported AKP till last year because they really did something for the country but the last 1-2 years things got really uggly around AKP so i dont support them anymore.

Its hard to get 50-50 things are more comlicated, there are 3 main partys AKP, CHP and MHP

Next elections could look like this:

Conservative AKP ~40%
Secularist/Liberal CHP ~30%
Nationalist MHP ~15%
Rest ~15%

Things could change if CHP and MHP could form a coalition which is not impossible but its a slightly possibility.

you are living fantazy land chp %30 lol akp %40 lol:rofl:

this is today mustafa sarıgul's istanbul chp meeting complateley fiasko:partay:

I see this on the BBC

Turkish President Abdullah Gul has signed a controversial law which will give the government more control over the country's judiciary.

Under the new law, the justice ministry will have a greater say in the appointment of judges and prosecutors.

Such appointments are made by an independent body, the High Council of Judges and Prosecutors.

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has accused prosecutors of trying to undermine him with a bribery inquiry.

Hundreds of members of the judiciary or police officers have been reassigned or sacked since December, when the sons of three of his cabinet ministers were arrested on suspicion of bribery.

BBC News - Turkish president signs off new controls over judiciary

Taking control of the country's judiciary is the first sign of a power-hungry leader.

Actually the first sign is jailing journalists, this is the second sign.

He is not taking control of country's judiciary, he had in control long time ago. How do you think he managed to jail many generals from Army. Now his relation with the "Jemaat" (former allies) turned sour, so of the Jemaat men turned against him.

He also restricting the internet, government can put ban on anything on internet within 4 hours without a jurisdiction.
