Islam was ‘never part of Europe’: Hungary’s Orban

But it is now (what happened in the past is of no consequence here) and they refuse to accept Islamic culture ( not even people who practice that faith). It's their choice and their nothing you or me can do about. It's easy to blame India and other developing nations as NOT being tolerant to Islam and it's practices (some were even calling us a fake democracy) but now it seams the Western nations are also showing the same intolerance.

This world of ours is evolving continuously for 10s of thousands of years and it wont stop only because now Europeans have well established "Christian" democracies. They should not have freed Iraq from Sadam and Libya from Qaddaffi if they were so worried about protecting their borders from evil invaders. Every action has a reaction, their own scientist told them 100 of years ago yet they keep on poking their fingers everywhere. They insist on making this world a global village, so as long as benefits only moved in one direction but now it seem as if new tenants want to move to Europe Boulevard on this "Global village" and resistance is futile, just like it didnt work in the sixties with blacks.

magine some European states explicitly starting killing of Muslim Turks in Germanic regions of Europe. Do you think Turkey---with its massive modern military and huge intelligence network---will just sit there and watch?

This is an absurd thing to have written down, even talking hypothetically.

As for the rest of your jibes against France @AUz, it was most classless and unwarranted and I can understand why @Gabriel92 found it unacceptable. France has a remarkable martial tradition and they would give a bloody nose to any aggressor, the "jokes" about surrendering in WW2 are tired and ignorant. This entirely ignores the massive contribution of the French resistance to the success of the D-day and subsequent anti-Nazi operations that came at the cost of untold French lives.

You clearly aren't aware of historical fact or are indifferent to it.

If you're going to mock the French then why not mock the British too? They suffered a humiliating defeat in the early stages of WW2 and the British Expeditionary Force fled from Dunkirk in fishing and pleasure craft leaving behind almost all of the British Army's weaponry. It is all a matter of perception and for some reason this French surrendering joke has persisted which is entirely unfair in my opinion. The US has effectively surrendered numerous times but have simply packaged this as a "withdrawal/draw-down" (see Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan) and what of Pakistan? Do we need to open that wound?

A Pakistani should be the last person in the world to insult others of surrendering..... ask the Indians.
@Abingdonboy @SrNair @SarthakGanguly

Ignore him bro.He is a certified troll.
We had to hide ,90k of their PoWs, from the wrath of Bengalis.
Still they will claim that they are the only nation in the world that defeated US and USSR :sarcastic:
You cant change people like that.

i agree with him. christianity is the unifying force of europe and its identity. europe is culturally christian first and last, if not religiously or politically.

Uncle AUz.

For a while he was sensible.....but now i see his condition regressed again. So sad.

Ottomans ? Muslim Spain ? Southern Italy ?

Irrespective of whether or not Islam was ever part of Europe - Fact is - Islam IS not part of Europe.
European values and Islamic values are at clash with each other. They just can't co-exist.
Accommodating practicing Muslims in Europe is just asking for trouble.

Spain,Italy are much more developed and scientific advanced than Turkey.Same for the Netherlands. These countries build their own destroyers ,submarines, are involeved in consortiums like Airbus, radar, missile tech, etc. They are influent in NorthernAfrica, the Mediteraneean Sea.Remember the Morrocans trying to muscle their way on some uninhabited Spanish islands and getting evicted immediately.

The only way from stopping the extreme right wing to rise (which i agree would be a good thing) would be for citizens fears to be appeased but that means stopping non Euro immigration and for the muslim community to integrate, which isn't happenning.

Eastern Europe won't genocide Muslims as Eastern Europe doesn't have problems with its muslim communities, the problem is with muslim communities in the West, they are far more radicalised and opposed to mainstream European culture.Eastern Europe just wants to avoid the Western debacle and that's why it opposed the current immigration quotas.
You are involving with a kid in a call of duty style argument.

As for what he said, he is actually right. Europe has had its culture, development etc all shaped by Christianity. That's the way it should stay. Yes Europe has had significant Muslim minorities, but you have to remember they have assimilated over the last 500 years, and developed a form of cultural Islam, which firstly the majority don't notice, and secondly allows them to integrate well. I know a few Turkic girls from Bulgaria (significant minority there). Yes they do the Ramadan, Eid etc. But they also wore bikinis at the beach, all work and had families who were visually indistinguishable from the majority populace. It's the same with the Romanian Turkic folks, the slavic Bosnians and the Kosovo people.
What scares these states is the full march of Syrian, Afghan and Iraqi migrants, who bring with them a culture and way of life that is at odds with the majority. I would go as far as to say that the folks from these countries would probably call the assimilated Muslim minorities of Europe infidels!
I'm sorry, integration is not possible and it is disgraceful the likes of the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait have refused to take people. If their own folks are turning their faces away, why do people expect miracles from the Europeans, who are culturally so far different from the refugees.

You lucky bstards being separated from us by sea....

Hats off to the French always. Don't take the remarks of some guys to heart. By the way, you certainly got further than us in the Rugby. :o:

Hi,

Weird from a country that was communist until few years ago, Cant remember when viktor was even christian

The mass migrations that have taken place in recent time with the advent of globalization and modern modes of transportation have been utilized by the powers that be to push through millions of peoples into each other in a way to create friction and instability. We should realize this and not be used. We should work with Europeans who wish to preserve their traditional ways in a respectful manner. Of course there are very few Europeans at least in Western Europe who would wish for a traditional European way of life as they would see it as almost foreign.
