Pardon me if I sound retard ..
But usage of English in our educational system is making things difficult for some students . Not all students can work well in english and not everyone can make up their mind to understand those new words of this language.
In our country, there are many people who have very high iq and have got a very sound mind still cannot go ahead in education if they don't have a complete grasp on english or regard education as difficult cause of new language.
Your native language affects your brain development. Western nations have the benefit that they use english in their daily life also then carry studying in the same language and also rule the world with this same language.
While it's not case with us, our mind is developed in urdu , study in Same language but then told that it's important to learn English to move ahead or to become a successful person in this earth like the famous people. In order to get a job , you need to have grasp in english that is just a injustice to those who don't know english.


Seems like your iq is not any benefit to you unless you learn English . It should be limited to a language of interaction and should not be given the state of dependency on it .

Find folks to translate STEM subjects books to Urdu and i will support your stance.If you cant well dont propose wild changes to an already broken education system

Welcome on aboard. Urdu has been given the same preferance over other native languages. At least English opens the door to the world.

No there's a difference . We get our mind developed and indulged in urdu language because it's present among us and we learn and use it in our daily lives . . Moreover , it's not 'imposed '. On the other hand , English is a foreign language that have no any relation with our culture and soceity but still it's being given superior status in our country .
There's nothing wrong with English and it's learning but it's status shouldn't be of economical survival .

Just need to change our attitude to the urdu based education and make urdu too capable of economic survival and high calibre. No need to change the whole courses .

In our global economy , language has a practical use .
Economics of language Describes it well the economic stability related to minority languages . Language does have affect on decline or rise of the economic stability of a country .

We should assign it a economic value in linguistic markets by giving it privileges and power .

My take is convert all books/knowledge to Urdu and teach. English can be extra curriculum.
Western world invented industrialized printing press it ran on water powered mill.
Muslim needs to translate and print !.

Other Europeans countries find it easier to learn english because some of them are using english alphabet.

So those concepts do not apply to Urdu at present and your wish is to make it so in the future, by assigning it an economic value in "linguistic markets"? So what are these "linguistic markets" in Pakistan and what form would the privileges and power you want to give to Urdu take to give it some economic value?

The Pakistani mind is not submissive to English. It simply recognizes its utility as a powerful international tool, just like billions of people across the world. For example, how can Urdu be a preferred language for international business dealings? What significant trade partner of Pakistan speaks Urdu?
