The reality on the ground

I don't understand how going to Turkey is logical with the same rate of inflation as Iran. I have some distant relatives there, and are mostly there for the social freedom. No one is in Turkey for the money.

Oil prices surge after OPEC+ producers announce surprise cuts

Oil prices spiked Monday after OPEC+ producers unexpectedly announced that they would cut output.

Brent crude, the global benchmark, jumped 5.31% to $84.13 a barrel, while WTI, the US benchmark, rose 5.48% to $79.83. Both were the sharpest price rises in almost a year.

The oil prices sunk as low as $73 and $67 a barrel respectively in the week following the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank in the United States on March 10, as the turmoil spread to the wider banking sector, raising fears of a global recession.

With oil prices now rising, inflation could remain higher for longer, adding pressure to a hot-button issue for consumers around the world.

“The development comes as a blow for inflation,” Sophie Lund-Yates, lead equity analyst at Hargreaves Lansdown, said in a note Monday. “Markets are aware that if the pressure continues, central banks will need to extend or strengthen their interest rate hiking cycles.”

On Sunday, Saudi Arabia said it would start “a voluntary reduction” in its production of crude oil, alongside other members or allies of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).

Because you can migrate to eu from turkey than Iran

Some Software developer that I know migrated to turkey to be able :
1- remotely work with most of the world
2- have access to services like aws , azure ...
3- use turkey to apply for other countries...

And turkey has better infrastructure, air condition ( air health ), more social freedom and etc ...

You can't see any future for ordinary people in Iran

I.S green light to car companies to increase the price of their product by 30 to 70 %

Side note 1 : you read it as 70%
Side note 2 : in Iran car companies increase the price of their product 2 or 3 time in a year . That mean price of car will increase by 100 to 150 % in this year

Iran has restarted work on the 10.8 Mt/year Iran LNG gas liquefaction plant, which faced hurdles due to sanctions and whose construction had been suspended. Located in the country’s southern Bushehr province, the Iran LNG project, which is at a more advanced stage than other LNG projects (16.2 Mt/year Persian LNG and 10 Mt/year Pars LNG, located on Iran’s Mideast Gulf coast), could be operational by mid-2025 as preparations to instal the liquefaction trains had been largely completed.

To supply the Iran LNG project, extra production of about 10 Mt (13.5 bcm) will be required. The country is expected to bring online twice this volume from two phases—11 and 14—of the South Pars natural gas field between 2024 and 2025. Iran has currently no operational liquefaction capacity. About 236 bcm of natural gas was produced in the country in 2021, with exports accounting for 6% of the total.

Phase 11,the last part of the enormous south pars gas field development project is expected to come online this year.
What makes this an even more impressive achievement is that all of the work and financing on the massive phase 11 project was carried out entirely by iranian companies and iranian sourced financing after the french and chinese pulled out back in 2017.

TEHRAN – Iranian Oil Minister Javad Oji has said that phase 11 of the South Pars gas field development plant is going to go operational within the next two months, IRNA reported.

“Considering the measures taken, production will start from phase 11 of South Pars in the next two months,” Oji told IRNA on Saturday.

Talking to the press on the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony of a gas transmission pipeline project in northeastern Iran, the minister also talked of good agreements with giant Chinese companies and a record annual production of natural gas.

He said Iran and China have reached good agreements that will serve the two nations’ interests.

Mentioning the country’s record high sour gas production in the current year (ends on March 20), Oji announced that one billion cubic meters (bcm) of sour gas has been produced in the current Iranian calendar year.

Earlier in January, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said phase 11 of the South Pars gas field development plan is going to reach its final stages in the near future.

“The development of phase 11 of South Pars continued strongly after the foreign contractors quit and it will reach the final stages in the near future,” Raisi said in a cabinet meeting on January 15.

When fully developed, the South Pars phase 11 will have a production capacity of two billion cubic feet per day or 370,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day. The produced gas will be fed into Iran's gas network.

Iran had previously awarded the development of the phase 11 project to a consortium comprised of France’s Total, China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), and Petropars which is a subsidiary of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), however, Total and CNPCI pulled out of the project in 2019 due to the U.S. sanctions.

Currently, Petropars is developing the phase 11 project after its partners left the contract.

The drilling operation for the first well of mentioned phase was officially started in December 2020. In the early production stage, the output of this phase will reach 500 million cubic feet (equivalent to 14 million cubic meters) per day.

South Pars field, which Iran shares with Qatar in the Persian Gulf, is the world’s largest gas field, covering an area of 3,700 square kilometers of Iran’s territorial waters.

The giant field is estimated to contain a significant amount of natural gas, accounting for about eight percent of the world’s reserves, and approximately 18 billion barrels of condensate. The field is divided into 24 standard phases.

One of the most significant oil/gas projects ever attempted in Iran..France'sTOTAL and China's CNCP both quit this project and now will watch Iran extract the gas and regret obeying US threats.

They are going to increase Gas price by 200%
just subtract that 200% from the xxxx% of subsidy the Iranian govt already applies to gas prices. Iranian govt has and will never allow Iranians over pay for their national resource gifts, and it shows. Its unfortunate you despise your country. Islamic republic over Iranian monarchy, the results prove that to be the truth.

Another round of free fall is beginning
Free fall of what? the Iranian Rial? bro, if you're talking about the Rial falling, its likely intentional- devaluation of currency stimulates exports and commercial activity and productivity, even China does it and US calls them out on it.
Real question to know if its a real free fall is this- Are average and regular mainstreet Iranians broke or starving? If the general consensus on that is a "No", then the free fall is likely intentional or expected by the govt- your mistake is underestimating the competence of the Iranian govt. Get all the relevant pieces together an analyze them together objectively and rationally, you will see the true reality of the Iranian economy.
