Same number as the year before.If it's same so Iran's GDP should stays withing same range of previous year !

Unofficial value of Iran's Rial vs USD or other currencies such as Euro went lower.So why according to WorldBank, Iran's GDP didn't decreased?

If you compare 2020 to 2021 you may see increase of products in both agriculture and industry.

In most of agriculture products Iran's rank during 2020 and 2021 is certainly below rank 15 of the world (top 10 in most necessities ). Only in red meat Iran is having problems.in beef and poultry production Iran is still below top 20.
I would put Iran's agriculture at 7-10 rank compared to other countries in world.(2020/2021)

In industrial products. in almost everything Iran's rank is below 12.
I would put Iran's industry at 9-12 rank.(2020/2021)

Raisi submits $131.5b budget bill to Majlis (1402)​

The proposed budget amounted to about 52.616 quadrillion rials (about $131.54 billion at the free market rate of 400,000 rials), with a 40 percent rise from the current year’s budget.

The bill has estimated the government’s budget at 21.64 quadrillion rials (about $54.1 billion).

Public resources are estimated at 19.84 quadrillion rials (about $49.6 billion).

The crude oil income is predicted to be 6.03 quadrillion rials (about $15.075 billion), and oil sales are estimated at 1.4 million barrels per day at an average price of $85.

Like the current year’s budget, the next year’s proposed budget requires the government to pay 40 percent of its oil, gas, and gas condensate revenues to National Development Fund (NDF).

Tax revenues are predicted to be 8.386 quadrillion rials (about $20.965 billion).

RIYADH, Dec 7 (Reuters) - Saudi Arabia approved on Wednesday a 1.114 trillion-riyal ($296 billion) budget for 2023.
Inflation in SA was 2-3%.(unofficial/out of the budget government expenses usually creates inflation)

Pakistan
I think it's 7-8% of GDP ,by assumption of $1.5 Trillion GDP of Pakistan , it makes it ~ $112 billion for 2022.
Inflation in Pakistan was 12-25%(increased during 2022)

Turkiye
like Pakistan I could not the exact number but based on reports it should be 3-4% of GDP and $3.1 Trillion GDP of Turkiye (IMF GDP PPP) it makes it ~$110-120 billion.
Inflation in Turkiye was 70-50% (decreasing)

Iran
According to the government, they had $50-60 billion budget for most of 2022.
Inflation in Iran was 45-40% (stable/decreasing slowly).

Iran, EAEU sign free trade agreement​

Head of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPO) Alireza Peimanpak signed the agreement on the Iranian side with EAEU Minister of Trade Andrey Slepnev signing the agreement on the side of the five-member bloc.

Noting that a preferential trade agreement has positively affected trade between the two sides over the past three years, he said that zero tariffs for 90% of commodities will also lead to a breakthrough in both exports and imports.

18% growth in just one year , a good example of how supporting domestic industry will have positive results. The challenge is to ensure quality does not suffer.
Note: During Rohhani government both of Iran's main appliance makers went bankrupt because he liked Korean LG imports ..his MI6 team prefered to import rather than support domestic production..

well for Qatar its mainly food products and if things didn't change from several year ago building materials (steel , stone, cement ,...) the amount is 180-200milion dollar depend on who you ask

During Rohani term both AZMAYESH and ARJ went bankrupt..I was so mad I followed the affair..when raisi came to power one of his first actions was to have a meeting with appliance makers and they promised if he banns the import they will deliver..now you can see the results..

BY the way..We have had Governments like that in Canada also..When Northern Telecom ..the giant Canadian telecom company was in trouble the government did not help them (we are capitalist system let the market decide BS)...they went bankrupt..their IP was sold dirt cheap around the world to France and US and etc..while at the same time in the US the center of Capitalist world GM was in trouble and US government helped them to survive..Idiots are in every country..

even if we consider Qatar had as much tourist as its population that will be 5 million that will be 50kg food stuff per person . now its right that they are one of the fattest people around the world but i bet they don't use anything around 50kg of food stuff per day

Iran signs $300 mln deal to supply saffron to Qatar​

Iran will supply 200 tons of saffron to Qatar under a major deal signed between the two countries.
Iranian exporters have secured a $300 million deal to supply saffron to Qatar in what has been described as the world’s largest ever saffron export deal.
The official IRNA news agency said in a Monday report that traders from Iran and Qatar signed the deal earlier in the day in Doha in the presence of Qatar’s Finance Minister Ali Ahmed Al-Kuwari and Iran’s ambassador to Qatar Hamid Reza Dehghani.
The report said Iran will supply 200 metric tons (mt) of saffron to Qatari customers under the deal, adding that a first shipment will be due in October.
Iran is the world’s top producer of saffron with more than 500 mt of output per year. However, direct exports to Europe have declined in recent years mainly because of American sanctions targeting Iran's access to banking services.

with 5 cents/liter gasoline the runaway consumption of the gasoline in Iran is so high that next year Iran has to import 60 cents per/liter gasoline and sell it at 5 cents in domestic market...potential of $5 billion dollars import fee.

Raisi Government will be judged harshly on this if it happens.

The issue is urgent...I understand the government is between the rock and hard place..if they increase price of petrol the inflation goes up and if they keep it at the current 5 cents/liter the consumption and smuggling will skyrocket..So what is the short term solution that does not cost $ 5 billion in imports:

Two price solution and GAS cards (done in ahmadi nejad time):

• XXX liters at 5 cents/liter per car/day or week !
• market price 60+ cents for any amount more

worked well during ahmadinejad but this takes lots of management however the cost of it will be far cheaper than $ 5 billion import of foreign gas and the money stays in the country.
