Iranian Economy.....news and discussions

How so ?

Their data sometimes might be inaccurate but I don't believe they are lying.(both IMF and WorldBank)

Main problem comes from our perspective, GDP itself is not the perfect way to look into one country and evaluate all of it's performance.it only sheds light on a part of a dark room.it's a good tool to have but we need more independent tools like this to cover all aspects of a country.
If you want to compare european countries, then look at the age people can retire, or how many % people have houses and ground, or how many % they get from the last money as retirement-money ect. pp. Just look at such things and than compare that ranking you get out with this imf-ranking. Then you know.

.
This is how Iran's GDP will surpass many European economies in the coming decade:..Perfect industry for Iran's gigantic gas reserves..:cheesy::cheesy:

Iran eyes $180b of annual petchem revenue in 10 years

  • over the next 10 years the country’s annual petrochemical production capacity will reach 200 million tons which will bring the country $180 billion in revenues
  • more than 100 petrochemical projects with a total investment of about $70 billion have been defined and will be implemented across the country.
  • According to Oji, over $12.5 billion was earned from the export of petrochemical products in the previous year.

Here in Isfahan, if a minimum wage(60 million rials per month or $ 150) guy wants to buy a house(less than $30,000) he should work for ~16 years to buy a house outside the city or buys something old and small (less than 70 cubic meter) far from interest points of the city :).

On average a retired guy gets 90 million rials per month ( $ 225 usually retired with government job) so buying the same house for this guy takes ~11 years of his/her savings in a zero inflation environment and zero expenses for foods, clothes and other stuff.

There are more things to say in this topic and most of the times everything goes back to government.like prices of land (which usually is biggest reason why price of house is high).next is $, 1 euro in Iran is not the same 1 euro in Germany but 11 years or 16 years in Iran is same amount of time in Germany :).

Things are not that harsh as data explains because parents in Iran are usually little bit kinder and they help their kids.or sometimes if someone marries whole family help the couple.

How are things in your city ? is it worst or better ?

Its more worse. 11 years working to have the money to buy a house and ground was in the 60s.

. .
And here in Canada..If you want an average house in big city like Montreal or Ottawa..you pay more than $500,000 (half million++)..If you go way out in the country side may be $350...A start salary for University educated is about $60,000 dollars after tax..$40,000 ..this poor fellow can not even dream of having a house in the big city that he works...so things are not so bad in Iran or Germany ..

12 years for that average house in city is good.

For average ~100(10x10) meter apartment or house in decent place of town (not worst place or best place )you should pay ~ $ 65,000. (our case was bottom 20% house price )

So to buy this average house for minimum wage guy you should wait ~36 years and for that average retired guy ~24 years :partay:

Thank God more than 60% of Iranians are home owners ....

December 31, 2022 - 14:35

TEHRAN - Drawing a positive outlook for the Iranian economy in 2023, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has predicted that 10 major indicators of the Iranian economy would experience growth and improvement in the mentioned year compared to 2022.
Based on the IMF data, Iran's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) based on the purchasing power index will grow by $91 billion or two percent in 2023 to reach $1.7 trillion.
Meanwhile, Iran's GDP per capita is also expected to increase by $865 based on the purchasing power index to reach $19,528 in 2023 from $18,663 in 2022.
IMF sees Iran's GDP excluding oil grow by two percent in 2023, and the growth of the country’s economy including oil will be 2.1 percent this year.
The inflation rate in Iran is predicted to be 40 percent in 2023, registering no change compared to 2022.
The International Monetary Fund expects the rate of the country’s liquidity growth to slow down in 2023. The liquidity growth that reached 47.5 percent of GDP in 2022 will decrease to 45.6 percent in 2023.
The budget deficit of the Iranian government in 2023 will reach six percent of GDP, which is 1.8 percent higher than the figure in 2022.
The Iranian government’s total revenues will not change in 2023 compared to the previous year. The Iranian government’s income in 2023 is estimated to be 8.3 percent of the GDP, registering no change compared to the previous year. however, the government's non-oil incomes will increase from 7.4 percent of GDP in 2022 to 7.5 percent of GDP in 2023.
Based on the IMF data, the downward trend of the Iranian government's gross debt will continue in 2023 to settle at 31.9 percent of the GDP this year.
The fund also predicts Iran's current account balance to be $30.2 billion in 2023. Iran's current account balance in 2022 is estimated at more than $32 billion.
Based on the mentioned data, Iran's foreign currency reserves increase by more than $11.4 billion in 2023 and reach $42.2 billion. Iran's available foreign currency reserves in 2022 are estimated at $30.8 billion. This international organization has announced that Iran's foreign currency reserves are more than $120 billion, but it claims that Iran has access to only a small part of these reserves due to the U.S. sanctions.
According to the estimate of the International Monetary Fund, Iran's foreign debt in 2022 will be equal to 0.5 percent of the GDP and it is expected that this figure will remain the same in 2023.

In Germany it is 42,1% and fast falling

With the new Tax for house- and groundowner (up to 10 times higher now as it was in 2020) it will fall from the 42.1% down to 35% and lower within the next 3-5 years. That is why i said that the numbers from IMF about Germany are a nonsense.

House tax is only for bigger houses or even smaller house owners should pay it too ?

If a medium income guy(in Germany) wants to buy that average 100 meter apartment in a decent place of your city (not the best or the worst place of city),how long he should wait to pay for all of it ?
(no food, no water no dress, nothing :undecided: 100% income should go for his house/apartment payment)

Japan is in same league as Germany. I think it's much worse there when it comes to price of houses.Iran has more land/ground and same population as Germany so price of land should be cheaper here.

There are non to buy. You remember? Migrants? Some US-Media sum up all migrants coming to Germany in the last decades to 13+ million. It was in the washington post (or was it nyt?) two weeks ago. In Germany you cant get the real numbers. They hide and lie about all day long. The gov even pay rooms in 5 star hotels, 5000 euros per month or so. And that drive flat- and houseprices into the sky. The sky is the limit!...no, not in Germany.
Japan is in same league as Germany.
Nope. In Japan there are Japanese and some Vacation makers and the shit US troops.

In Germany there are not much german left, but millions of shitpeople no german wants in his country and on top the US shit and other shit arsholes from other shit nato countries and a lot of shit from other shit countries too.

Edit:

In 2023 there will close dozends of hospitals in Germany becouse of cost. At the moment there is shortage of medicaments/medicin in germany and the gov tells the germans to do medicin exchange on privat basars, called "Flohmarkt".

So if you are an iranian living in Iran - jackpot! You have a future!
