Don't get me wrong, I want Iran to have strategic cooperation with both these countries, but they are not making it easy for us.

I think China shall continue to work with Iran in economy/infrastructure/defense. Every time we sell weapons to Iran, USA will threaten China they will sell weapons to Taiwan. Damn it. We shall recover Taiwan ASAP.

i think iranians actually have a pretty positive view of china and russia (over 60%) its just that historical grievances sometimes cloud their judgement, especially with russia (treaty of turkmenchay etc)

In this case, we must be independent for obvious reasons. We asked them for those equipment but they didn't help. Our problem is not technology or labor, we wanted to save time and and cash. Generally we have no way except being independent in production of military equipment.
Even our economy sux, depending on oil is not good for us, inshallah we will remove oil from our economy of course after this loser Rouhani. This idiot is proud of selling 4 million barrel oil per day! Ph@kin stupid mullah
After firming our economy, we can claim many things. But considering all these conditions, i cannot hide my interests in Russia. Syria and Ukraine proved that we need each other. We must choose between getting annihilated by NATO or work with each other to counter their danger.

Iran has a bright future but you have to disinvest from mullah owned enterprises. It is hard slow and painful process. You cant just get out of oil dependency overnight and develop a vibrant private sector. But my best wishes for you.

Though oil is cheap nowadays so the price isn't too important, what's more important is the stability of the supply, like with our pipelines to Russia and Central Asia. I believe Saudi can ship oil from their western side to avoid any possible conflict situation in the Gulf.

You`re right about stability of supply and thats were iran,which as a genuine independent and non-aligned state,has such a huge advantage over the saudis/gulfie western vassal states who may be willing to supply china while its relations with the west are cordial but should that change I imagine china may just find that the saudis and co are suddenly not such willing or reliable suppliers after all.I imagine that was why the chinese still kept buying some iranian oil despite western pressure...oh that and the fact that they didnt need to actually pay for any of it right then and there because of "sanctions"
As for shipping saudi oil out thru the red sea/western ports of saudi the problem there is that it would require the construction of very large cross country pipelines and loading facilities to be able to equal the capabilities of the pg facilities and ultimately these would be even more vulnerable than the saudis persian gulf facilities are to,shall we say "accidents" never mind outright iranian military action against them.
I also hope that in time irans economy diversifies away from oil exports to a more balanced economy and that the oil exports that remain are based around refined petrochemicals rather than crude oil.

I've noticed that a good number of Iranians have bi polar disorder.

After years of British Empire's colonialism and American's imperialism in Iran and fighting 8 years of war on our own, The Iranian's political view has became quite paranoid. So if you knew about paranoid style in Iran's politics, you wouldn't be surprised. Iran's deterrence strategy is quite paranoid too and based on self-sufficiency and being able to defend ourselves on our own and without any help from other people.

I think Chinese are way better allies than Yankees. They don't think they are the rulers of the world, unlike Yankees they don't interfere with their allies domestic policies. They don't tell other ppl how to live and how to behave. They don't topple other nations democratically elected governments. For many years their current leader Xi Jinping avoided a cold war style conflict with Yankees and yet we see Yankees want to nuke China because of it's economic growth. And for historical reasons, most iranians actually have a pretty positive view of china.

If China have to fire a single shot against Taiwan, than it's a failure as it will turn the people of Taiwan against China. What China should do is get the people of Taiwan to vote to join China. This would require further development and liberalization in China.

Puerto Rican's are a Spanish speaking people ethnically different from Americans. Most people there would not vote to break away from the US. Their decision is on whether to join the US as a state. This is because of US attraction on average Puerto Rican's. China need the same influence with Taiwan.
