Afghans are made up of many ethnic groups and they are very divided. Secular Afghans were always pro-india, but they don't have any power in Afghanistan. The men with real power in Afghanistan are Afghan Taliban, who we had no problems with at all. For them Muslims are their brothers and kuffar are their enemy.

And majority of Afghans who are Pashtuns have way more in common with Pakistanis, especially with our 2nd largest ethnic group Pashtuns than any Indian.

Pashtuns also tend to be very emotional about Kashmir in both Pakistan and Afghanistan. Don't forget it was the Pashtuns who freed half of Kashmir in 1947 and made it part of Pakistan.

Pakistan got a lot of support from government of Afghanistan over Kashmir dispute before 2001.

Afghanis are like that. They talk smack when they are living the life. Then right after they get invaded they run to Pakistan asking for forgiveness. That's how Pakistan has 5 million illegal Afghani immigrants.

It doesn't matter what Afghans on the internet and in the west say. Indians are too into the world wide web, they don't know about ground realities. Indians want a relationship with Afghanistan like what Pakistan has with China, but they don't realize that Afghan Taliban are the men with power, not puppet Karzai, and Afghan Taliban will never pick hindu majority india that occupies Muslim Majority Kashmir and kills innocent Kashmiri Muslims over the Islamic Republic of Pakistan that has 180 million Muslims, 1/3 of them Pashtun Muslims.

India supported the Northen Alliance before 9/11 we still have links with them and we do not wish for a relationship like you have with China that is impossible, however we want a stable Afghanistan that is warm to Indian.

the afghans i spoke to all know urdu very well. this was also a surprise to me as i always thought afghans only speak pashto. one afghan guy told me they know urdu because in big cities of aghanistan they speak farsi. farsi has the same status as that of english in india and urdu has many farsi words. when i asked him about pakistan he made faced and kicked in air and said this what we do to pakistanis. they have destroyed afghanistan he said. next time you met an afghan dont tell him you are from pakistan and ask him what he think about pakistan you will know whats in their mind

Have you been to Afghanistan? No. They HATE everyone there who is NOT Muslim. They care about religion first, then their nationality.

There is a verse in the Quran where it says not to let non muslim soldiers step on your territory.
