There is news that indian Army Delegation was inRussia for Procurement of T 14 Armata to counter growing technological edge of pak VT 4 tanks along with T 80 upgrade and AK 3

india has good know how of russian tanks infastructre already in place

Current western tankams do not match indian requirments due to weather and terrain of india

Definately armata will be next tank for india already shown interest

Why would it outrace any tank? Battlefield is not formula 1 exactly .most war footage I have seen tanks move at around 10km. Top speed is just a that top speed like top speed of your car would be 300km ...but u don't drive at that speed probably ever

I really doubt it can sustain recoil of 152 mm gun without flipping over....

Here is a T-90 direct hit my azz that tank was destroyed at will by Syrian militants they destroyed 100s if not 1000s.. It is junky in fact all tanks are in this age and time that is just the truth but T-90 is far from the best..

One well placed sophisticated sabot type ATGM round (some even possible to be fired from 105mm barrels) can spell the end of any MBT.

We have seen in the Middle East how T-90's fare against RPG's.

I remain unconvinced.

If Indians buy t-14 Pakistan should work with turkey and buy altay but with 125 mm gun and work with turkey to develop ammunition for 125 mm gun that can penetrate t-14. We should also convert every single m113 of its derivative into viper ifv but arm viper with a better atgm probably a Ukrainian one we can get and locally produce it. We should also look into Chinese cr500 drone those could be very useful against Indian tanks because they can fly low, hover in a area and wait for tanks to come than ambush it, their small so have low rcs, their armed with good atgms and their cheap and pilot less so even if we lose a couple drones it won’t be a issue. We must induct some z-10me asap as well
