- BD is the fastest growing in per capita terms large economy in the world and all major organisations agree it will stay this way till at least 2030. BD is finally showing what is possible in S Asia when you have your own independence and are an actual real country rather than a legal entity.

So will we have India's IIT level universities in BD by 2030? Will Indian's go to BD for medical treatment in 2030 instead of it being the other way around? Will we watch Indian movies or will Indians watch Bangladeshi movies in 2030?

BD cannot be like India as it is eight times smaller. Two countries cannot be compared.India has mass starvation still while BD does not and so it is not the land of milk and honey.

We need to learn humility and believe major economic organisations rather than forming opinions based on our limited knowledge and life experiences.

BD is on right track and just needs time to sort it all out.

Singapore being a tiny and 30 times smaller than BD still have better medical treatment and Educational institutes compared to India. Why BD can't do it if it remains the fastest growing major economy?

How Bhutto will be remembered is for Pakistanis to decide. I don't think Indira is seen badly in India..despite her doing some questionable things. Perhaps @Nilgiri can say better.

She did very many bad things inside India...with long term effects to this day.

But honestly govt hospital have improved in a certain degree comparing BNP regime .
Now atleast plenty of anesthesia is available in every govt hospital. plenty of medicines available.
In BNP regime even they stole anesthesia supply and used to sell it to local pharmacy for money.
Robbed medicine supply and sell it too.
Robbed means not armed robbery, but actually it never reached to hospitals .
Resulting the sufferings of poor peoples.
Actually 2001-2006 regime was a dark age of Bangladesh.
And actually I am a fan of semi military rule, like te fakhruddin era. But for the pressure of Western world, such type of govt is not favourable for long time, that's the only problem.

BD is already better than India in most social indicators.

And education is backbone of a nation . And we need to change outer system. Specially we need to develop our medical services in a certain degree so that we don't need to visit India for better treatment .
