KPK, Balochistan, gilgit baltistan and internal sindh were less populated as they we're arid regions (mountainious for GB case) and could not support large population like the Gangetic fertile plains.. Our largest state is Rajasthan which resembles those regions and has only a fraction of population of UP and bihar. you won't see a single living soul for miles in western Rajasthan.

East Rajasthan has the same story.. But overall its still considered arid region compared to our most of our landmass. There is a difference between large fertile landmass with rivers and good amount of annual rain and some plantations.. There are mushroom plantations in Rajasthan. Most of the world population lives in asia as asia has those warm fertile lands while europe being cold remained less inhabited just like cold region in our countries too.

The British did it on OUR behest.........the results were the same....................despite being more than 7× bigger than Pakistan and having abundant access to the world's most advanced weapons systems whilst we are denied this privilege, india remains FAR TOO weak, powerless and incapable of fighting the Pakistan army. Indian Muslims believe that Pakistan has nothing to do with Islam. At the end of the day, when India was standing by with the Palestinian cause, Pakistanis were happily taking Israeli weapons while Israel dubbed Arafat a terrorist.

Another misconception. Pakistan came into being the same moment as India did - on August 15, 1947. Read the Indian Independence Act passed by British Parliament which created the 2 dominions of India and Pakistan.

So, no - Britain lost her crown jewel on August 15, 1947 - 65% became the dominion of India, rest was Pakistan. I don't know when you became a republic or till when you were still under the British crown. India was still under the crown till 1951.
