IMF Reduces Pakistan's GDP growth forecast.

.
LDC banglerdoshis laughing at Pakistani’s decreased growth rate is like a homeless beggar laughing at someone who has an entry level Range Rover instead of the Autobiography. Newsflash, they are still much much better off than you.

So praise Pakistan = sense.
Criticize Pakistan = nonsense.

Anyway why did they ban nilgiri? @Nilgiri is like a flower. He's also a river and a rainbow.
There is a huge difference between criticism and spewing venom and it does not take long before we are able to distinguish between the two. I appreciate criticism and rather I criticise our govt and policies quite a lot but people are able to understand..

@Slav Defence , Sir this was the thread original title given by this bangali member , @Imran Khan pointed it out also ,,,,,, you said you will kick out such persons , but I only see thread name change , member is still active ,,, So is that all defence.pk team will going to do????
I'm really disappointed and shocked because I used to think of this bro @UKBengali as a balanced and mature member from Bd and I even defended him and @django will bear me out here. But then today he started this thread and he draws conclusion that CPEC is a failure and attributes to IMF which simply reflects the venom he had been harbouring against CPEC and Pakistan since a long time and just let it flow today...

This chap has a visceral hatred for all things Pakistani...and frankly Indus related.Kudos bhai

In the next 10 years, Bangladesh might be double in nominal GDP than Pakistan.

I certainly hope that this does not happen but there is a chance unless Pakistani policy makers take radical action to enhance and maintain growth over the medium-long term.

Really disappointed at the amount of abuse that I have gotten from Pakistanis over just starting a thread where IMF predicts lowering of GDP per capita growth down to only 1 % by 2023.

Whole point of the thread was to start a discussion on the fundamental problems of Pakistan's economy which even CPEC cannot seem to cover up.

No-one is gloating about the poor performance of the Pakistani economy here - in fact it is in all of S Asia's interest for Pakistan to have a fast-growing economy like India and BD.

.
The whole idea of CPEC was to propel Pakistan at the growth rates of India and BD.
Reaching the development status of India and Bangladesh is the eventual long term plan for Pakistan, this is when we shall achieve superpower status

I have read all 6 pages on this thread and am lost why so many members from Pakistan have pounced on you.

I am assuming Pakistanis have become too sensitive about CPEC.

Woah, all @UKBengali did was provide stats from IMF. Someone has to open the threads on this site - and judging by the 6 pages of comments, it was an interesting subject.

Personally, I think IMF is just laying the groundwork for better bargaining power on future loan agreements.

I too don't understand. They were quite optimistic about their economy. Now they have gotten very sensitive. A mention about economy or cpec is enough to trigger them. smh..

Tfw you are behind a LDC in most of the socioeconomic indexes. This is very bad and very sad :(

The economy has to grow just for the mere fact that billions of dollars worth of development going on. For any country to grow you will need developed transportation and telecommunication infra to encourage investment. Chinese folks built their infrastructure at break neck speed.

The theory is " If you build they will come."
