What we have heard and believe about the Mahdi, are all assumptions and based on self created beliefs from various schools of thought.

Nothing such will happen at all.

He will come as a leader who will unite the Ummah on one platform, but what will unfold will be totally to opposite to what we believe.

These are again assumptions. Allah knows better. But the question is: what we are doing, are we doing our duties, or we are just waiting for someone to come and help us.

To follow him or even believe in his arrival, I first need to know what the Holy Quran says about it.

No mention of Mahdi in Quran but only in Hadith, lots of offshoots from mainstream Islam created because of this Like Ahmadi / Qadianis in Pakistan / India, Daruz in Syria / Lebanon, Bahai in Iran, Mahdavi in India etc etc list goes on.

Muslim. A proper muslim, with right emaan, intention, love for deen, good heart, pious, pure soul. Will automatically follow Mehdi.

We have to follow him. If he is the right Mehdi and not eblis trying fool me to be Mehdi, eblis will try and kill many people. I’ll happily die than accept Eblis, because I know my deen. Eblis will cause great fitnah. Mehdi, will come, Isaa will come back and will destroy Eblis. But before that Eblis the Satan will try showing people stuffs and some weak hearted ones will follow him, but not the pure muslims.

And, a mahdi or not, for me the Imam of all Muslims was Muammar Gaddafi. Doesn't matter if is dead or alive. The political system he contributed to, is suitable for all, Muslims or not.
