Why are you so dumb?

You just slap your brown face without even knowing it.

I did not said android upgrade is only about bug fixing :)

Well your thick skull wanna interpret that way then FINE :)
No argument found.

And that's exactly what you said.

Since when i said android upgrade is only about bug fixing.

Your -29 feedback must had taken a toll on your ability to read logically.
Yeah, I tell things that trigger most of this forum, as a result I've got negative rating here, I couldn't care less.

You said Android updates are minor and don't make any difference.
Releasing new firmware is an industry practice. Many of these software 'upgrades' are just minor bug fixes or adding some features or supporting for new models. But for Indians like you who are dumb enough would believe an increment of 1 is an 'upgrade'. Dumb twats are vulnerable to marketing stunts made by big corporate.

I believe your -29 is justified. Since when i mentioned these updates are minor and don't make any difference.

Your cognitive capacity must be proportional to your rating.

Again, a bunch of hot air, but I failed to see any purposed point.

If you want to hurl personal insult, that's your provocative, but I have no interest on these type of post, which have no substance at all. Feel Free to say what you want, I will not reply to your post unless I can see a solid point was (yes a single solid point) raised.

lol, again, these people think they would win an argument by hurling insult. Let them play with their own, if you ignore people like this, your day will be a lot brighter.

He think he is mr. big, but he couldn't even hurt a fly, that's why people like that resort to war on words.

However, it's fun to watch and bespectacled

1st LD-Writethru: Huawei net profit up 28 percent in 2017

Xinhua, March 30, 2018

SHENZHEN, March 30 (Xinhua) -- Chinese technology firm Huawei said Friday that its net profit grew by 28 percent to 47.5 billion yuan (7.55 billion U.S. dollars) last year.

Its sales increased by 16 percent from 2016, reaching 603.6 billion yuan, according to its annual report.

The company saw robust growth in consumer and enterprise sales in 2017, up 32 percent and 35 percent, reaching 237.2 billion yuan and 54.9 billion yuan, respectively. Its carrier business reported 3 percent growth to 297.8 billion yuan.

The strong profit growth, compared with 0.4 percent in 2016, was driven by buoyant consumer and enterprise sales and lower costs due to improved management, said Meng Wanzhou, Huawei CFO.

Huawei's high-end mobile phones made up a 8.4-percent share of the global market in 2017, 5 percentage points higher than in 2016, which boosted profitability, Meng said.

During the past 10 years, Huawei has spent 394 billion yuan in research and development, including 89.7 billion yuan last year.

"We still face grave technological challenges," said Hu Houkun, Huawei's rotating chairman. He said the company is good at innovating products, but needs catch up in terms of fundamental technology, such as artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality.

The domestic market, as well as markets in Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and Europe are expected to drive growth for the company in the future, Hu said.

In response to a reporter's question, Hu said that the company recently experienced difficulties in the U.S. market, which has prompted it to "work harder in other markets."

News reports said in January that Huawei's planned deal with U.S. telecom carrier AT&T to sell its smartphones in the United States suffered a setback. China's commerce ministry voiced opposition to trade protectionism over the incident.

Headquartered in the south China city of Shenzhen, privately-owned Huawei is a world-leading telecom solution provider and also the world's third-largest smartphone brand, behind Apple and Samsung. Enditem

You are talking about the same thing again.

1.) Battery don't need to last really long, most people (I don't know about you) only need to have enough charge for 8 to 9 hours, aka the moment they went to work to the moment they come back home. Most phone with the crappiest battery can do that, in fact, most of us need them even shorter, because we can charge our phone in the office ( I don't know about your company in China, maybe they don't allow you to charge your phone) so for me, as long as my phone last the journey to and back from Parramatta Police HQ. I am good.

And even if all else fail (Like I forgot to charge my phone or my work place having a black out), I always have power bank that can last 2 full charges, which is in Samsung S9+ case 18 hours, and finally, if I wanted, I can charge my phone EVERYWHERE, in the mall, in the train station, even at McDonalds.

2.) 4000 mAH battery in P20 Pro DOES NOT OFFER MUCH ADVANTAGE over the 3500 mAH battery in S9+, you get 1.5 hours more standby time and only 20 minutes (16 minutes in Beny's Video) usage time. Which is literally nothing.

And if Battery is really that important to you, then you should not use High End phone and get a Nokia 1110 which will last you a nice 112 hours standby time between charge, that will meet all your "Emergency" need

You do know what people uses phone camera for, right?

There are only virtually 4 usage of a mobile phone camera

- Selfie (Which does not need a good camera)
- Taking stupid picture of yourself doing stupid stuff (same as selfie, you don't need a good camera)
- Document Special Occasion (Usually you will use video capture, not image)
- Social Media uses (again, Most are video now on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter, seriously, when is the last time someone posted a phone on your Facebook/Weibo timeline?

And then you still have not address the issue of a 5x hybrid zoom is a waste of the 40MP bandwidth. Which again, I have not heard from any loyal Chinese member explain to me how a 40MP resolution is effective on a 5x Hybrid zoom.

You can call Samsung S9+ is an inferior phone, but that is just you kidding yourself. In term of hardware, again, beside the Camera and the Battery, everything else is better on the Samsung.

How many 4K movie can a Cloud Service hold? 1? A 400G SD card can hold 10 4K movie, that's 14 hours of entertainment. Bandwidth is also an issue for cloud, not to mention if you want to take some 4K movie out of your phone when you are in a concert or something.

I have a 1TB google drive (Yes, 1TB, it cost me $10A per month) and I seldom use them on my phone, and I still uses a 256GB memory card.

It have nothing to do with being Pro-China or Anti-China, if this is the spec for the next Apple and they are claiming they will destroy Samsung with that spec, I will still say the same, again, as I said and maintain thru out the whole passage, I am not saying P20 Pro is bad or whatever, I am just saying they are more expensive than the Samsung and you did not get the value of that Price Huawei is selling. For me, the optimal price for P20 Pro is around $1100, then I will consider it my next phone (In fact, I am in a process to replace my old Samsung S7 Edge) so I am actually looking at news phone.

Again, we can start posting data if you want and see how the 2 phone sales number goes in country that did not ban the Huawei.

Yeah, most review actually put P20 Pro BEHIND Last Year flagship such as Google 2 XL

1)Keep your message short. I don't have time to respond to all. What do you mean battery don't need to last really long? LOL Beside you, most people go out carry only 3 things: A cellphone, a wallet, and a key. That it. They don't go around carry an external power pack or in the mid of a movie watching and need to go find a plug to keep watching. Life is about CONVENIENT. TIME IS IMPORTANT. TIME IS MONEY. LOL

Like I said before, the testing being done is before software update. Notice the P20 still haven't been release yet. Worth noting is that the Kirin AI main feature is battery performance. Therefore the longer you use, the less the battery drain on your phone in the future unlike the Samsung socket CPU which suck up a lot of power to maintain its graphic performance. Thus it is famous for being a battery sucking magnet. You will notice this dramatic battery performance reduction once you reach that 6 month milestone. They are pretty famous for that. Look it up.

2) As I said many times already, when you spend a certain amount of money on a device, it is no longer about what you are going to use it for but about the bragging right. It's about being different from others. It's about the WOW factor. Not everybody will utilize 4k image but it's good to know your device have that capability when you need it. This is why P20 is so incredible in delivering that image quality you wouldn't expect from a phone device. They have leapfrog and become the standard now. Expect other phonemaker to start copying in their next flagship.

Stop asking dumb question. How many 4k movie can cloud service handle? What? If you have 1TB of cloud storage, wouldn't it handle more than 400gb of external storage? LOL As I said, with cloud being so easily available and with 5g coming out, there is no point in having external storage. Also the reason yhou don't is because connection download/upload is not fast enough o make it convenient compare to pulling data out of an internal/external storage. But that should change with 5G.

Google 2 XL is not a better phone. Go look at the conclusion. He concluded it a better value phone because it's cheaper and can do many things a typical Joe can do. In that case, I can also conclude a $300 phone is a better value phone than Google 2 XL. In fact, from his design observation, the guy is clearly bias toward Google 2 XL. That phone design is one of the ugliest, together with the Sony Xperia. LOL I have been using Google phone for for years so I know exactly what it's capable and not capable not and I must said I'm very happy I switch to Huawei phone. Battery performance, design, camera capability, feature are on a different level from the experience with Google phone. The only positive about Google phone is the constant software upgrade, which can be a positive and a negative. The positive is you get up-to-date with Android software and security fix. The negative is in the process of upgrade, a failure can meant the end of your phone life as LG-made Google phone is notorious for causing a bootlloop bug.

A phone only need to last between where you can charge it. In most of the case, it's less than 8 hours (The length of time you are outside, without porting) , any sort of phone can last 8 hours without charge.

For me, I don't really need to last even 2 hours, I have computer at work, I have docking station at work, which mean I only need enough charge for me to go from my home to Parramatta Police Headquarter, then I can simply charge my phone at my work computer or docking station in my break room. Then My phone still need to last my journey home. This is how most people works.

And most phone case have a compartment for your cable, if not, you can use Wifi to charge a Samsung, which you still only need to have a phone, wallet and key in your bag.

And finally, people who buy top end phone don't care about how long the batter last, if you want everlasting battery, buy a Nokia 1110.

I don't know what you are talking about. Are you saying Samsung battery only last 6 months and then Kaputt?

How long a battery last is up to the individual who use it, I have been using Samsung Flag ship phone since 2010. I never have my battery gone bad after 6 months. On my S3 S5 and S7) Most people have problem with their battery is either using those cheap Chinese Charger or Car Charger or they are abusing the battery.

Again, MY SAMSUNG is still using about 7 to 9 hours a day with single charge, and I bought my S7 Edge a year and a half ago. That is from personal experience. So I am not sure what you are talking about.

2) As I said many times already, when you spend a certain amount of money on a device, it is no longer about what you are going to use it for but about the bragging right. About bragging right, you think you get more bragging right with having a Samsung or having a Huawei? Most people in the west cannot even pronounce Huawei, what do you think?

People don't use 4K feature? Maybe 3 years ago yeah when 4K TV is too expensive to buy, not in 2018 tho. EVERYTHING I DO I DID WITH 4K, it doesn't matter if it was the youtube video I shoot or my facebook statusupdate. Just because Huawei is bad at video does not mean people don't use 4K video function.

Ask what people prefer. Taking photo or Taking Video?

Stop asking dumb question. How many 4k movie can cloud service handle? What? If you have 1TB of cloud storage, wouldn't it handle more than 400gb of external storage? Also the reason yhou don't is because connection download/upload is not fast enough o make it convenient compare to pulling data out of an internal/external storage. But that should change with 5G.

First of all, you don't pay for the card once you bought it, you pay for cloud. EVERY MONTHS.
Second of all, it take up your bandwidth to use cloud.
Third of all, the availability of the data content depends on your cloud service and your mobile carrier. If they have bad reception, you got nothing.

Also, you cannot upload thing from your phone to cloud, well, you can, but very slow, so card as an immediate data storage access is still necessary

This is what the guy said at digital trend

Overall winner: Google Pixel 2 XL
Despite being a little older, the better all-around phone is the Google Pixel 2 XL. It features similar processing power, an excellent camera, quick software updates, and more.

Of course, that doesn’t mean the Huawei P20 Pro isn’t worth buying — it looks to be a great device. If you like the big edge-to-edge display and the prospect of a triple lens camera, then it may be the phone to go for.

It did not say it is a better value for money, it said it is a better ALL-AROUND phone. The author position of Google XL 2 is better than P20 Pro in general.

You can of course call the person biased, but as many other could also call you biased, all your point is based on what P20 Pro is better at, and mind you, there are only 2 things, which is the battery and the camera, and everything else is not important to you, because P20 Pro perform badly on all those field. And also, you still yet to explain to me why and how triple camera with 40MP is a game changer.

As I said, I am not saying P20 Pro is bad, but given a choice, I will NOT go for P20 pro because on physical comparsion, I got less from P20 Pro than Samsung S9+ and I got to pay more, this is not a very good business practices.

Naturally, the P20 Pro comes with Huawei’s SuperCharge technology, and in our testing, the phone charges up to 50% in 30 minutes.

Your post is too dumb I don't know where to start to response.....

You think Android upgrade is just "Minor" bug fixing, it looks a lot more like you are the one trying to be a smart alec.

The rest of your post is, what should I say? Match the standard of the person who posted it.

And by the way, I am a Chinese, I am not an Indian, I don't earn rupee.

Don't reply to the white slave jhungary and his jewish friend, they are both trying to derail this thread. Must be jealous and mad at the fact that China can produce top notch products.

That explains why that Viet refugee is all worried about Samsung phone being upstage by Huawei. It means his relatives back home may not have enough money to buy a bowl of pho and will sell off more Vietnamese women to Chinese farmers.
