Google search, India middle class is about 3% of India's total population, Pakistan middle class is about 7% of Pak total population.

In India a middle class person is considered someone who earns $13,662 (Rs 737,748 or Rs 61,480 per month).

Now tell me, if a person earns 1 Lakh pkr a month in Pakistan, is he rich or middle class?

-Pakistan CNG sector is many a times more developed than India, more environment friendly as well, Pak ranks 1st or 2nd in the world in the number of vehicles running on CNG, about 7 million or more vehicles runs on CNG.

-The total length of natural gas pipeline in Pakistan is about 10,000 kms and in India it is about 11,000 kms, compare with population and land size.

Because India has more LPG connectivity. While LNG is mainly used by Industries. Also, India import more LNG. Despite placed away from resource rich countries.

I don't wanna turn this into a measuring contest. And compare your country with mine. It's unfair mainly because of the size and population difference. Our needs and resources differ from yours. Hence there will always be a difference. While we may have more diverse resources and economy from the area we have. We are bound to have better industries and better economy.

Export is not the bar for anything. Indian industry is more domestic oriented. Since we have 3rd largest military in the world.

In this context per capita GDP and GNP is a better option as you have mentioned population and size difference is huge, and the GDP per capita difference is minuscule, 10-15% difference is meager.

Bihar and Gujarat are our population centres, obviously it'll be well lit. Gujarat uses more power but it is mostly used in our industries. UP and Bihar doesn't have them. Street lights or night light indicate population centres. Funny thing is Pakistan population centres are in the dark too. Imagine Karachi is as lit as our 3rd rate cities.

I have given you a direct link to Nasa where i got the image from. I didn't know Nasa had some grudge to show Pakistan in dark light. But in any case, we are all discussing the empirical evidence we have given the picture was taken from renowned source. You can refute all you want but reality doesn't change. Also, by the grace of same world bank you so espouse to be credible, India's per capita electricity consumption is almost twice yours (806 kwh vs 471 kwh) in 2014 and growing a lot faster.

India imports about 90% of it's defence requirement from abroad...so how India defence industry is better than Pakistan, just check the latest howitzers damage fiasco(imported long haul million USD guns damaged by using Indian made ammos). Check the JF-17 and Tejas's success rate, already 100 JF-17 in Pak airforce, hardly 2-4 Tejas's in Indian airforce.

recent reports points out to the fact that Airforce has rejected the Teja's and called them unfit to be incorporated in IA. And Arjun tanks are also rejected by the Indian army.
