I's a good thing BD is not part of India. We get a lot of income from the region, had that been a state, there will be a lot more troubles. And BD is not a rich in natural resource country.

It is densely populated. While our industries make profit by doing business with BD and they flock in during some festivals boosting our industries, and most of them come into India for treatment, we don't have risk of their accounts and debts while we can simply work with them without much hassle. Watch it, slowly BD will have more per capita income than Pakistanis

The "earliest founders" of Pakistan never wanted Bengal to be a part of Pakistan. For them, separation had to do with culture, ethnicity, history, ideology, heritage, language, and etc... as much, if not more than religion. It was later on that politically influential "Muslim Indians" began to 'hijack' the movement and the people that came up with the concept of Pakistan had to give in to them as they knew it was the best way to gain the creation of Pakistan.

Pakistan had a uniform development in HDI. While we reached our largest GDP growth rate in 2010 at more than 10% growth.

I'm not going to go through details on what is why and how.
There may be a hundred reasons. My only point is, India and Pakistan are not comparable countries.

We are on polar opposites in terms of any matter. We have our relation when it comes to development as, neither of us are a developed nation. Only that matters.

Whatever you were x years back doesn't matter. What you face now is your own policy failures. There is no one to blame on. And if distrcution was really an issue then see Japan, they were bombed twice with nuke, had tsunamis and earth quake that killed thousands. Yet, they are doing fine. Also, you were given huge funds from the US. You used it to arm yourself up. And who knows what else. If you had a stable democracy from the beginning you would be in much better state now.
