You idiot, it doesn't matter when the bids were made - it is YOUR government that awarded the tender to a company which is run by the son of one of your ministers and still owned (majority shareholder) by your minister if there was only one bid, why not delay the decision and invite more bids? Why not declare the conflict of interest? Why can't you arrogant ba$tards for once recognise your hypocrisy???

Imagine if this happened during NS or AZ times? That a major contract was awarded to a son of a sitting minister. PTI would have called a dharna/sit in! They would never have accepted it was the right thing to do. Yet the pujaris just can't see the wrong here.

O bhai.. when the RFP was issued to public, only two bidders came forward.. it wasn't PTI government..

But then the bids were given to an independent consultant to evaluate, which decided in the favor of one bidder..

Now it was PTI which received the bids or stopped bidders from bidding?

Come on.. I was not siding with government, but when I heard the facts, i realized that it is no case of conflict of interest.. at least the award of the contract is not..

Now just because no one bid earlier, is it sane to repeat the process?

Abay oh paindu.... There were only two bidders and one of the bidders was disqualified on technical grounds by an independent consultant on 18th July 2018, even before the elections took place.

If you see initial comments on this thread, when many didn't know the facts including me, i was of the view that government is wrong and bidding process should be repeated.. but after facts come in open, I realized it is no conflict of interest..
