What's new

Farce must stop now!

Look man it was Bush the idiot (who cant pronounce nukiller) thought that a third world country like India can take the responsibility of Super Power as well as regional power. But that back fired. Even BD openly harassed US diplomat regarding to that issue. They openly called USA to come directly to BD instead of Delhi if they really want good relation with BD. US realized within 6 mos that India cant be what their retarded President thought to be. India does not even hold the power of Israel!!!

Our politicians maybe outright corrupt and totally inept but one thing is certain, we have never wholeheartedly sucked up to US.. in UN we may have have voted with US on some issues of late but those are minor when keeping the entire world politics in dynamics..

We don't trust US to help us if god forbid a war breaks on us. PERIOD !!

The nuclear treaty has not moved in 6 years ..... You are not following the latest news.

Australia has decided to export uranium to india, previously it could not and you're saying the treaty has not moved in 6 years!!! Somebody has fooled you about the relationship between india and the US.

Exactly. The civil nuclear deal opened up many options for India as many nations offered us Uranium and latest nuclear reactor tech.

What makes you think that obama thinks differently about india? Democrats are traditionally more india centric than bush. It's clear that you don't have any clear idea about even the basics of the US politics.

Even BD openly harassed US diplomat regarding to that issue. They openly called USA to come directly to BD instead of Delhi if they really want good relation with BD.

That happened during the BNP period not the BAL period. The present BAL government thinks that it is their patriotic duty to urge foreign countries to accept india as our representative. So, the present govt. of BD is pleased to see other countries approach us with the consent from new delhi.

India does not even hold the power of Israel!!!

Becareful, your indian friends might have objections about this opinion of yours!

Aren't you even a little suspicious that only an Indian agrees with you. India still has to clear many hurdles before all the elements of the nuclear deal with the US is complete. India and US are not working hand in hand if they were than the US would not be imposing sanctions against our RMG sector, stopping the WB from funding the Padma Bridge project and the British would not be disclosing private conversations of a judge in the war crimes trials. By the way the Democrats were traditionally more India centric than the Republicans but the roles have reversed. You see things from a preconceived perspective where everything stays the same year after year. A great deal has changed in the US attitude to India since Obama came to power and the Indians certainly do not trust the Americans are now pushing their relations with the Russians. Putin is now in India ....

That happened during the BNP period not the BAL period.

No this is happening under this AL government with the consent of India ....

1. Can anyone confirm to me that a month or two back a Turkish MP was arrested in Bangladesh for giving Qurbani to Rohingya refugees?

2. This is in some ways a nationalist BAL government that - despite the traditional Bengali deference to westerners - has confronted western governments on some issues. If it is willing to get in to arguments with the US it will be prepared to do the same with Turkey.

Though the trials are a farce, Turkey should not interfere in our internal affairs. It may result in a downgrading of ties between Dhaka and Ankara and the non-completion of some deals due to "bureaucratic problems".

Turkey under Erdogan has become a bully, insulting other countries even at times threatening them, we should tell Erdogan and the Turks to f*** off.

This was the news!!!

???????? ??????? ?? ?????? ?????? ??? - ????? ???

I think it is told to turkish authority that Gulham Azam is an old man and he was arrested in the name of trial just to harass the political opponent. In the mean time Jamaat has deployed huge amount of money to gather support for them. Turkish Prime Minister should be replied diplomatically if the news is true. They should be reminded that the way Armenian genocide is a red line for them and it should also be the same. But this is unfortunate that BAL has misutilized the trial so much that they lessen its importance but this is regretful BNP is trying to save the war criminals.

Jamaat leader Quashem Ali invested 25 million usd in appointing lobbyists in the USA to campaign against war crimes trial against him. Then just imagine how much was invested by Jamaat as a whole...

1. Both the stupid Awami League and Jamat are enemies of Bangladesh and causing problems for our country.

The Awami League and Hasina formed an alliance with these alleged war criminals in the past.

Now they are playing politics with the people's desire for justice by using this trial to harass Jamat politically.
Apparently Hasina has made it clear to Jamat that if they join her she won't kill their leaders.

Hasina is thus nothing more than a murderer.

2. This forum is infested with Bangladesh-hating jamatis and razakars who think their heroes are saints and can do no wrong.

Jamat are corrupt and even Asad71 bhai who says this trial is purely meant to harass Jamat, has said how Jamat stole funds the Saudis sent to the Rohingyas (not in the current crisis but years ago) and put it in their bank accounts.

3. Turkey should seriously shut the f*** up!!

Even if Saudi Arabia got involved, I don't mind that much as we have 2 million Bangladeshis there and a lot other ties, but the Turks (being groomed by their American masters to be de facto "leaders of the Muslim world") should seriously shut the f*** up and stay out of this.

We do not comment on Turkish affairs or violate their sovereignty.

This forum has more pro awami leagers than jamaatis. In fact we have awami league fanatics here.

Let me break this down for you really simply. As per Awami League logic, you are either with them...or you're not and (by default) you're a razakar/Pakistan-lover etc.

How are you "against them"? Also simple; just dare to claim that the trial is a farce or agree with others who do so or simply show some minimal liking or even neutrality towards Jamaat (to be Bangladeshi is to hate Jamaat/Pakistan).

Do any of those and our friend @Hammer-fist will come back and name who are the nationalists and who are razakars and "Pakistanophilic". All in all, as per AL logic, Bangladesh will run their way.. Or you're a razakar. (No other ideologies allowed) :woot:

Bangladesh is devided into 2 parties BAl and BNP, you have to be either one of them. There is no middle groundl but there are extremists to both parts. BAL's extremists are west Bengal sympathizers and BNP's extremists are jamaat.

Jamaatis do not want to reunification with Pakistan. In a fantasy lala land they want the Ummah to work, that is why they have the hots for Pakistan

West Bengal sympathizers are the quiet type, they want west bengal and tripura to join Bangladesh.

Both of these are pipe dreams and folks claiming to not follow either of the parties are idealists aka they live in dream land. You simply cannot beat this system, these parties need reform for the better, which is already happening. If you dont follow either of the parties your voice doesn't matter.

I dont think there were any necessity of trials. Those people behind the bar are well know war criminals. They should had been summarily tried in the central jail (Same was as Cl. Taher) and hanged in the first year of AL came to power.
