Guys,

I was watching a news and current affairs program on Duniya TV where I found Pakistan Army has made few crucial decisions.

1 - Now bowing before America for any issue against the interest of Pakistan. (Which I read as there won't be any Swat operation!)
2 - US Militry and Political delegations cannot meet PA military heads in one-on-one meeting. Meetings must be conducted in the presence of government officials. (A welcome step towards strengthening Government!)
3 - US Media will not be allowed to defame or ridicule Pakistani Institutions (like ISI an Army) and any baseless allegation they put will be taken with tough hands. (Haha.. sounds difficult to implement though but that's the spirit!)
4 - US Intelligence Network working in Paksitan has been completely disbanded! (Oh that was needed since it started!)

I am not able to find any link from news resources so it looks like very recent development.

Also Marvi Memon Resigned today and this means "something!". Not to forget PPP and PMLN are in square fight since yesterday and that also means end of "humbistri" and mutual molestation by the political set-up.

Looks like Pakistan's dark tunnel is about to end!

Firstly, the generals can shout and bark and cry out loud but the harlot will never be given the status of a mistress. Secondly, the generals, after all the humiliation they have brought upon this country, still consider themselves the true hakim of this country. What a bunch of pathetic morons these generals are, as they say in Urdu, "rassi jal gai per bul na gaye."

Pakistan has to hang some CIA spies before it can contain CIA's terrorism in Pakistan and that is not likely .
So things will go on as usual I suppose.

Pakistan pledges more than 3 dozen CIA visas - Yahoo! News

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has pledged to grant more than three dozen visas to CIA officers as part of confidence-building measures following the U.S. raid that killed al-Qaida chief Osama bin Laden and humiliated Pakistan, officials from both countries said Wednesday, but the visas have not yet been issued.

The visas are part of an agreement to rebuild counterterrorism efforts by forming what Pakistani officials call a joint intelligence team, said the officials, speaking on condition of anonymity to discuss intelligence matters.

The agreement was reached after talks in Islamabad between Pakistani intelligence chief Lt. Gen. Ahmed Shuja Pasha and top CIA officials, including CIA director Leon Panetta, the officials said.

The visas will help replenish CIA staff on the ground, as some staffers were forced to leave when their visas were not renewed in the aftermath of the controversy over CIA contractor Raymond Davis, who shot two Pakistanis to death in the city of Lahore, the U.S. official said. He was released after it was arranged that the families of the dead men would receive compensation.

So much for excellent development.

.

The "declared" CIA agents (that the Pakistan government knows about) are fine, it is the "undeclared" ones & private military contractors like Raymond Davis that are the real problem. The Pakistan government does not know anything about the activities of these "undeclared" agents, but knows everything about the "declared" ones.

The men who these generals command hold great respect for them. You cannot separate one section of the military from the other, it's either all of us, or none of us...............

.
The CIA Agents legally in the country to catch terrorists is fine. The ones posing as tourists, businessmen, NGOs and civilians need to be nuetralized. Enough of this foreign backed terrorism in Pakistan. We have busted CIA over and over again doing sabatage in Pakistan or harm to Pakistani interest over the last 5 decades and we know the nature of the US will not change and the US cannot be trusted.

Second point, US delegation cannot meet Pak army heads head on. They are implementing that now? Through out this 3 1/2 years of democratically elected govt Mr. Kiyani has been meeting US delegations. Last month Mr. Kerry went to Pakistan and his first stop was GHQ.

What nonsense is this. Now after so much has been disrupted, army decides, we're not gonna meet them first, let the political leaders do that. You're Damn right they'll do it, its their job. Just like your job is to be in the barracks, responsible for defence against external and internal threats. You are to do as the Prime Minister commands not hold meetings with foreign delegations without the PM being present. Know your place and your position, people.

There was a thread here titled, "army demands respect." Respect is not demanded but earned. When you do your job effectively and according to the rules and regulation. Not by tarnishing the constitution, throwing elected prime ministers out of the office, enforcing marshal laws and slithering into power like a snake.
