Many think two nation theory is no more, but it will remain in subcontinent even if all South Asian Muslim countries are captured by India, because the theory is based on facts which can't be denied.

Muslim and Hindus may have lived together for centuries but their way of life is completely different, also Islam is not just a religion, it is way of life it is complete constitution of living life, which is completely different from Hindu way of life, so two nation theory will exist until a single Muslim is alive in subcontinent.

Intermingling is always between different people not same - so this argument is self goal. People of different regions/states still differentiate between themselves in sub continent which means that this intermingling was not sufficient enough to make them one people.

About Patel,he was the biggest hardcore Gandhian among the AICC eminence. Calling him anti-muslim would not do enough justice to his character.
Secondly,remarks like "Indians are happy to get rid of muslims" again is an outright denial of facts and still do not represent the majority.

so you agree that going by that logic even muslims cannot be a nation. hence you are saying in india two nation theory is false but india needs a multi nation theory divided on linguistic lines, and hence Pakistan and india should split along the current state borders?

Two nation theory is something which derives its roots from the teachings of Islamic religion ; "Muslims are one nation no matter what their ethnicity is or which part of the world they live in , They are like different parts of a single body , If any part feels pain , The whole body feels the pain "
One thing should be very clear , Pakistan was made so that the muslims of sub continent may enjoy better social , political and economic previliges , something which was not possible in unified India with Hindu Domination ..
For all those who say that there are more muslims in India than there are in Pakistan (Muslims decided to stay in India and not go to Pakistan),this disproves two nation theory , are unaware that a "mass migration" was never intended under the partition plan .. Infact no migration was intended at all. It was a counter balance , There would be muslims in India and there would be hindus in Pakistan .. The problem arose because of biasness of the redcliffe award !! Muslim majority areas were given to India in order to provide them a land route to jammu , the hometown of Mr. Nehru , who was very keen to annex his hometown to India .. It was the partition of Punjab and bengal which triggered violence and mass migrations ..
Two Nation Theory can never die , as it is a religious doctrine . at max you would be able to say that Muslims of India failed to implement it properly . Fall of USSR is not the failure of Socialism , its the failure of soviets in its implementation ..
