Thanks for sharing. If Western societies don’t open their societies and public spaces for Muslims then the dichotomy of Muslim-NonMuslim will continue.

The onus is on the West to welcome and treat with respect their Muslim minorities as they are the ones preaching values of freedom, equality, and human rights.

If they cannot manage that, then leave Muslim occupied lands, accept that your civilization is not global, and stop screaming about your progressive values which don’t exist.

I don't think anyone will have problem with Fawad Khan and SRK type of beards. It is the Tableeghi or Wahabi beards that seem to be questioned.

2- Not to ghetto-ise. Instead integrate more with everyone so that there is harmony and mutual understanding among peoples.

Many people of one type living in one area creates a sort of isolationism and insecurity. Singapore also has rules for urban housing, where there has to be a fine balance between people of all origins; Chinese, Malays, Indians and others.

See how successful they are.

These rule are coming up because the immigrants don't allow their kids/females to assimilate into the local culture. Anyone leaving their religion/community receives serious backlash from the immigrant community, which involves social boycott and violence.
There will be more such laws in the future, since religious folk(read men) have long used the freedom in secular countries to perpetuate their faith by force.

It is a model worth emulating in all democratic countries. People of all backgrounds should interact and assimilate well so that they respect each other and celebrate the differences while ensuring that there is no violence.
