Pakistanis living in the UK higher unemployment

. . . .
I can assure you all Pakistanis work hard in the UK and Europe. The thing is we have a family system, if the father, sons or daughters work then the elderly who can still work or the mother etc doesn't need to work, and it's by choice. The people who work provide for the family. The Indians and Bangladeshi people follow the same system.

.
These figures are misleading. Does not consider factors such as single income households and also folks running businesses.

Pajeets are cleaning toilets in my company and I try to make them feel better by asking if they enjoyed their day at work. Sometimes I compliment the pajeets that the toilets are nice and clean. They smile alot and nod their heads left and tight.

Also my tenants are all Indians, they are low income households but as a good person I am, I have refrained from asking for affordability checks on them for my London property portfolio.

Most Pakistanis living in the UK are unemployed

A recent report by the House of Commons Library of the United Kingdom has revealed the unemployment rate of people...

A recent report by the House of Commons Library of the United Kingdom has revealed the unemployment rate of people of Pakistani origin is the highest among all ethnic groups in the country.

In the UK, the unemployment rate in October to December 2022 was 3.8%, with the white population at 3.1%, while the rate for all other races was 7.5%, but the rate for the population of Pakistani origin was the highest which is 8.7.

The organization’s report also stated that the highest employment rate is among youth and women.

People of Pakistani origin living in the UK are the country’s second largest minority. Their first arrival came after the Second World War when the reconstruction of a devastated Britain began and there was a great need for labour. Since then, a large number of Pakistanis have been making Britain their home.

The UK government also acknowledges the contribution of the Pakistani community to the development and construction of the country, but most Pakistanis prefer to stay with their own people, in their own areas, for cultural and traditional reasons.

The statistics published in the report indicates that there are about 1.4 million unemployed youth between the ages of 16 and 24 in the UK, which means that 20% of the youth of Pakistani origin are unemployed, which is the largest number.

In contrast, young people of Indian and Chinese origin are far ahead of other minorities in employment.

The unemployment rate among women is highest among women of Pakistani and Bangladeshi origin at around 11 percent.

British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) Urdu spoke to the citizens of Pakistani origin in Alford, a busy area of east London, and asked them why Britons of Pakistani origin lags behind other communities in unemployment rates.

A citizen said that it might be due to lack of education. “When they come to this country, they may not be as educated, and education is very important to stay here and get ahead.”
Another citizen explained that the reason for this is that Pakistanis do not support their women to get jobs as much as other communities do.

A citizen of Pakistani origin even said that ‘we do not support each other’.

A woman said that when Pakistanis apply for a job, even if they get a call for an interview, they cannot speak English well in the interview.

Dardana Ansari also emphasized that while the government is talking about unemployment, it should understand the problem properly and solve it, but if this is not done, the problem will remain the same. will remain.’

Well, at least Pakistani generals are employed successfully by the Brits.

Indiot why do you only post bad things about Pakistan? Why don't you post anything nice about Pakistan for a change?

How is it, that for the last at least 10years every bit of news coming out of Pakistan or about Pakistanis is rock bottom negative!

About the country ...default, increasing poverty, exchange rate, floods, drought, bomb attacks, protests, inflation, population explosion, disappearances.....

About Pakistanis abroad.... Grooming, beggary, crime, honor killings, unemployment, people trafficking, drownings, harassment of turkish women, riots.....

Can someone please do something positive..like some Pakistani with a job and doesn't harass anyone, discovers a cure for cancer or Pakistan Government sets up a technocratic committee to find a solution for and then solves circular debt or agricultural productivity or free quality education for the first five years...just anything...any single thing...this is getting depressing....

Most? How is 8.7% most?

From the report itself.

The figures are old by now and we reaching the end of 2023. The pandemic had a major impact on British Pakistani folk as they operated many small businesses, hence the higher rate. You also have traditional gender roles where older women did/do not work. That's changing fast.

That being said it also shows the Indian rate nearly double that of the white majority group. Is that a sign of major underachievement?

Anyway the differences are marginal, hardly something to laugh about.

Indians especially Hindus are always successful wherever they are. I am sure India's percentage is actually dragged down by some mullahs, even though they are better than other south Asian mullahs.
It's a common observation that property rates tend to rise in areas with a significant presence of Hindus, Chinese, Japanese, and Jews, leading to overall prosperity. Conversely, property rates often decline in areas dominated by Muslims, creating what is colloquially termed a "halal zone."

@Muji.Iqbal , this is how you counter with logic and not ranting. Please learn.
Fvck off Indiot, when you keep ignoring my arguments in my posts, you are intellectually dishonest. You deserve to be cursed at. :enjoy:

It is you who should learn to read other people's arguments and not focus on irrelevant things. :omghaha:
