What's new

Congrats India for 3 Trillion GDP

. .
really does Rahul have any chance of becoming the PM ? I think modi will win again ?
It's a question of arithmetic. BJP will not be able to replicate the success of 2014 when they swept UP, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Gujarat. It will boil down to who makes smart alliances. The smaller parties will play kingmaker. Daft Modi wasted a full mandate.

Congratulation to India for becoming a $3t economy. The prosperity should return to Asia like 300 years ago.

Many Chinese businesses are investing big time in India.:-)
Yes man and 2019 will be Chinese Automobile entry in India as you guys already control electronics market. I know it because i am working on one project.

that makes great sense as Chinese car market has started to go sideways recently and major Chinese automotive companies see Indian market as the next growth point. The timing is also great as Indian market is going to reach the level of income that middle income class can afford car or multiple cars. It is probably going to take another a few years away before demand skyrocketing but it gives them some time to work on the market.

Hopefully that automotive manufacturers can study the success of electronic companies like Xiaomi and Oppo in Indian market which brought products with top specification, top quality at reasonable price. Are you involving with SAIC or Geely project?

MG Motor had already started investing Rs 2,000 crore on upgrading the Halol plant in Gujarat

New Delhi: MG Motor India, a wholly-owned arm of China’s SAIC Motor Corp Wednesday said it will launch a sports utility vehicle, Hector in the middle of this year to kick off its journey in the country.

The MG Hector will go in to production in the second quarter of 2019 at the company’s manufacturing facility at Halol, Gujarat, MG Motor India said in a statement.

“With over 75 per cent localisation levels to begin with, the company aims to enter the growing premium sports utility vehicle (SUV) segment with a best-in-class offering that sets a new benchmark in its segment,” it added.

Commenting on the upcoming product, MG Motor India President & Managing Director Rajeev Chaba said, “based on the company’s global platform, the Hector has been heavily re-engineered to enrich product attributes and suit the evolving preferences of the customers and Indian road conditions.” With 100 sales and service touch points in place by May 2019, he said, “we are confident that we will be able to exceed the market expectations with Hector.” Last year MG Motor India had stated that it would increase investment to over Rs 5,000 core in the next five to six years as it gears up to launch one new product each year in India from 2019.

The company had already started investing Rs 2,000 crore on upgrading the Halol plant in Gujarat which it had acquired from General Motors in 2017.

I like the bulky look and the fact that it is slightly bigger than a typical medium size SUV say Tucson. Guess people would like a slightly oversized medium but not a full size large SUV like land cruiser.

Time flies and a new year is coming soon.
By 2020, India will have 3T$ GDP.
By 2020, per capita GDP in China will surpass 10k$, a step closer to high-income countries.
But no one surpasses the United States.

It predicts that America will fall to third on the list behind the two Asian giants by 2030, according to Fox Business.
China per Capita is already $10200 at the end of 2018 according to the world bank

That is correct but we are fopcusing on electric cars too and you will see tons of steps taken towards electric cars. We already have models ready but main problem is electric gas stations. We don't have any infrastructure :D

China and India have same market challenges that's why Chinese industries flourish in India if with Govt approval as they feel same condition as compare to China 10-15 years ago.

In two years, probably. 2.7T$ this year?
You are wrong friend as it is nearing 3 Trillion so lets wait for the official confirmation.

I know they have predicted that, however, due to exchange rate fluctuations in 2018, we don't have that per capita :(
If the exchange rate picks up, in 2020, we'll have a per capita of about $12k.

For any breakthrough in Kashmir, it would have to come from BJP. Only they have the “credibility” to do something different because of their supposed religious right credentials. For that reason, Congress is not good news for Kashmir or Pakistan. I hope Modi wins again.
