COMMANDER UKRAINE AIR FORCE, VISITS AIR HEADQUARTERS

03 March, 2020: Colonel General Sergii DROZDOV, Commander of Air Force of Ukraine called on Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force at Air Headquarters Islamabad. Various matters of mutual interest and professional cooperation came under discussion during the meeting. Colonel General Sergii DROZDOV, appreciated the sound professionalism of PAF personnel. Air Chief highlighted that both the countries enjoy cordial relations and reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

Earlier, on his arrival at Air Headquarters, a smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Air Force presented the Guard of Honour. He also laid floral wreath at the Martyrs’ Monument to pay homage to the PAF’s Martyrs.

What kind of cooperation Pakistan will like to seek from them?

When you read Ukrain, what comes first into mind with regard to Defence? Even though, there isn't much clear for this visit. Could have been a routine PR visit or I would like to talk about Engine thingy.

I think we can JV with them for An-70/77 multirole plane.

My Man !!! When i Read this news, and the Air Chief yesterday, exact thoughts, definitely something interesting Ukraine has to offer is a decent engine industry which is quite experienced but has fall back in terms of modern solutions post soviet dissolve. Remember, China’s local industry benefited a lot from Ukraine in terms of engine building as well as the blueprints of SU-33 for J-15

Do you recall me posting a thread in january i guess, China which is already partner in huge ukrainian engine firm, further investing and buying the ukrainian counterpart’s share to become sole owner or high stake partner in that company ?
I forgot it, but that was a news, maybe i tagged you on that as well.
