Being a small minority and without major representation in any of the houses, approval of Hindus for the constitution was not required. However, if there is anything that does not provide them equal opportunity or rights then that is against the spirit of Islam and should be amended accordingly.

Suppose, there is a war going on. Men are often tired and sick on the war front. Who will lead the prayers there?

I clearly said in 1 of the posts....that the women are allowed to lead prayers for women....so if ALL MEN went to war then women can pray in congregation among themselves...as for the sick they would be too sick to stand I assume, they are allowed to lay down and pray on their own....

To oppress non-Muslims? One can protect right of Muslims without oppressing non-Muslim minorities, can't we?

Look that wasnt the intention but it became thanks to people misquoting and selectively taking in what they please and throwing out what they please and inventing new stuff as they please...

Now if the land was for Muslims and if Non Muslims live along then that was not supposed to be a problem but like how you pick and choose what you like and point fingers at others many in Pakistan do the same and point fingers at others who do the same...

I know it is not in the sahih hadith coz I just checked the website....but I may have missed it

I dont know what it is ...coz I cant find the arabic version of that "saying" to see if the translator made a mistake or if it really is written as it is...the Arabic form will also tell if it was meant for that time only as it was said (as said on some websites) during the time of war....when most men had gone to the battle field....
