The one aspect of Rafales, that keeps getting ignored over here is Spectra (offensive / defensive) integrated suite. Our access to DRFM is still, at least publicly, restricted. Even if Pakistan fields enough JF-17 Block IIIs with PL-15s to counteract a low number of Rafales at the other end, how far would its integrated EW capabilities match up to Spectra?

Whats our Rafale's anwer? JF 17 Blk 3?? Are we seriously comparing a medium weight fighter with our light weight fighter?
What about India inducting more Mig29UPGs+SU 30 MKIs+Tejas?
We are just inducting JF 17s thats too in limited numbers
Ok What about SU 30MKI and Brahmos Super sonic ALCM with range b/w 450-600km?

Please note that rafale has to come inside Pakistan, when a medium weight fighter will be our airspace, our light weight fighter in numbers with the support of Mid Air Refuller, AWACS, Jammers, Ground Jammers, best Ground Radars, Short Range SAMs will definitely will be able to counter them.
Regarding Supersonic ALCM, we have some missile (or available from China).

Rafale + Meteor vs Typhoon + Meteor<Pakistan can buy 1 squadron easily> ... shouldn’t take more than 4 billion USD

Why spend so much money on EFT when JFT with AESA will carry PL-15 means much more missile platform in the air.

There are currently only 36 Rafales. I saw an Indian on youtube saying that Rafale will be used to deliver nukes. So if we go by his words Rafales role will be limited and only used in full blown war. Moreover it is also to be used as a deterrent against China.

only practical option is Typhoon which is said to be even more capable in A2A than Rafale...
Rest any current chinese fighter beside J-20 wont do...
And PAF already must be exposed to Saudi Typhoons ... if Pakistan can allocate around 4 Billion USD for this purchase of around 20... it should be more than sufficient for taking care of Rafale in IAF...

PAF has also know how of Rafales and S-400s and current economy of Pakistan don't allow big ticket items like EFT so JFT block-3 or best case scenario F-16 block-70/72 with AIM-120D & AIM-9X is answer to any IAF 4++ gen bird till 5th Gen Bird joins PAF.

Rafale is being purchased for next Balakot, no doubt in it.

In terms of Su-30MKI+Brahmos answer then its already there, PAF already have subsonic ALCM and supersonic CM-400AKG to put Indian air defense run for their money.

Why Pakistan have inducted JFT-B so quickly?? It will also be Pakistan's version of USN EA-18 Growler.

this is pure assumption ....thing are changing very quickly ....on the other hand, we are not ready for top dollar procurement....our response would be in mix of F16s/JFs....
