Idk, that guy seems to be serious but, from your name I get that you're hindu.. your opinion especially with what we hear about the hindu civilians massacres would be different from a sikhs.

If you look at the Punjab water issues where water from beas and sutlej are given as far as rajasthan un-constitutionally it was really the Punjabi farmer. the ISI funded and helped the sikhs, how much of that was to de-stabalize India, and how much of it was punjabi-punjabi only they know..

I thought he was serious too, considering how he knew about Indian Punjab but little about Pakistani Punjab. It was probably a bit of both, destabilizing India would have been a plus but Sikhs had some real grievances that were not adressed.

I think it was his language, and some mods will skip infractions and ban you if you have multiple posts that violate rules back to back.

Bhangra is from Punjabi culture, right? So is it popular all over India and Pakistan or is it only popular in Indian and Pak Punjab?

Also, what is the main language used in Pak Punjab, Urdu or Punjabi? And in India, what is the main language in Haryana and Himachal Pradesh, is it Punjabi or Hindi?

bhangra is a form of dance, especially in Punjab of pak and sindh, usually people carry out this dance on special occasions like wedding,basant etc,people of punjab mainly speak punjabi in Pk, but Punjabi is just a provincial language.

From what I read Jinnah offered Sikhs an autonomous state in Punjab if they joined Pakistan but they steadfastly refused as Nehru had promised you guys something else. However than the killings started on both sides (be honest everyone was killing each other doesn't matter who started it both sides will toss blame on the other) and the rest is history. Also than Nehru backtracked once partition was complete and did not accomodate any of the Indian Punjabi demands he agreed to.

@G.Singh what is this gaddaristan lol?? My family is from Sailkot and Lahore, the rest of my extended family are from Multan, Faislabad, and Amritsar so we would be a part of whatever those areas had joined. My family were not political power brokers at the time.
