Lets not bring india and Pakistan in the discussion as Hammer fist troll was doing. Lets keep it on the topic - Awami league reaction and potential damage.

You have to dig on the business deals done with turkey during our pm's visit. BAL's reaction to turkey has also been out of the ordinary. I believe america gave the go ahead to turkey.

no BALS reaction is desperate warning to Turkey and other Muslim countries..

Turkey (AKP) at best tried to act as Guardian of Islamic parties.......

. .
Good God !

Does it have a political sections ? :what:

yeah like Mursi, or russia going to become muslim Majority, I enjoy that forum because it is visited daily by hundreds of People who have similar ideology to me which is very uncommon in outside anti-ummah world

Turkey is a influential country with extensive strategic, military and trade realtion with GCC, US and EU. Turkey as a country can and could take action in co ordination with its partners and friends. This case of Awami hostality will not be any different. Many people will label this many different ways but lets hope people to people relation between Turkey and Bangladesh remain the same. Awami League has become enemy of Bangladesh, Bangladeshi people and their interest.Awami League regime action/ recation does not reflect popular Bangladeshi aspiration. Now Awami League made new enemy out of Turkey. There is ample reason and scope for Turkey to cooperate with Bangladeshi people, with polpular sentiment and reach shared goal.

Umm yes, sure...Turkey needs America`s approval in every foreign policy She makes...The same old cliche master-puppet analogy became annoying..drop that

I wasn't going to post here again since a well-known troll (and Bangladesh hater who is a propagandist for one particular party) joined this thread to spoil it. However I will ignore the troll and everyone else and address you.

1. We Bangladeshis respect and like Turkey (more than we like Arabs) and Turks as a nation like Bangladesh. I know this personally because I have Turkish friends and visited Turkey.

So I do not want to make this an issue between two nations, as it is not. Erdogan and Gul are doing this, whereas Ecevit (who spoke Bengali) would never have interfered in the internal affairs of a friendly foreign country, let alone for a so-called radical "Islamist" (sic) party.

2. I want good relations with Turkey, in fact I want optimal relations between our two countries.

Only an AKP government would do such an act like this and not the CHP or MHP.

This is merely one gang of pseudo-Islamists (sic) (AKP, Milli gorus) helping another gang of pseudo-Islamists (sic), Jamat e Islami.

Both nationalists, Bangladeshis and Turks would not support either of these pseudo-Islamists (sic).

3. This misbehaviour by Gul and Erdogan and their Milli Gorus/AKP thugs does not in anyway decrease my respect for our brother nation of Turkey. Gul, Erdogan, Hasina will all go away but our two nations will continue to exist, flourish and hopefully work together.

I am sure millions of Turks would be disgusted with Gul lobbying for Jamat or for any pro-Al-Qaeda organization.

How is Jamat pro AQ? Funny!! It is closer to USA than BNP, AWAMI! You are lot older and knowledgable. But some of your mistakes are fatal which makes your whole post *****.... And you didn't answer me, do you also think India's support in 71 breach of pakistan's sovereignty? Of course no. Its intention that counts.

...I was happy with the action taken earlier, both sides summoned the ambassadors and had shown concern. Now this is a bit harsh and exaggerating. BAL is expert in ruining anything. It will only harm our already endangered relations with muslim world. Not mentioning Turkey is a NATO ally.

1. Jamat is considered as an extremist organization and its leaders like Sayedi have been banned from the UK, Sayedi for example was banned due to comments he made which are seen as hateful against Hindus.

You are very defensive of Jamat, Hizbut Tahrir (another banned outlawed extremist organization) and have a problem with Bangladeshi nationalists and Bangladeshi nationalism. This is why you work with pro-Jamati extremist Idune to harass me on the forum and to promote hatred of your enemy the Awami League (which I am no fan of myself as is clear from my posts, however pro-Jamati extremists such as yourself and Idune want to turn this forum in to an exclusively Awami-league bashing forum but with no response from people who are anti-razakar or anti-Jamat or anti-terrorist or anti-Wahabi).

South Asian Terrorist Portal (SATP), The Columbia World Dictionary of Islamism and Defenddemocracy.org state that Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh "appears" to be connected with putatively non-violent, legal Islamist group or groups in Bangladesh,[24] Defenddemocracy speculating that Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh is a "proxy" established by the legal Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh party to "push the center of gravity of the political debate toward radical Islamism" and make Jamaat-e-Islami appear more centrist.[3] According to SATP, "many members of the JMB and JMJB have invariably been found to be cadres of the Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS), student wing of the Jamaat-e-Islami, a partner in the ruling coalition" with the Bangladesh National Party "under Prime Minister Khaleda Zia" that came to power in 2001.[6]

2. Jamat i Islami in Pakistan are also pro-extremist and defensive of Al-Qaeda and the Taliban.

pakistanbinladenreax-17749415jpg-f00b54232e107fb1.jpg

Jamat i Islami rally in Pakistan.

There are even facebook groups by Pakistanis against "Jamat i Islami" calling them enemies of Pakistan: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Boyc...ban-and-Opponents-of-Pakistan/135877973124538

"Boycott Jamat e Islami supporters of Taliban and Opponents of Pakistan."

Both Jamat e Islami organizations in Pakistan and Bangladesh are extremists, anti-western and have a problem with the existence of Pakistan (Maudoodi started off life as a Pakistan-hater) and Bangladesh as independent nation states.

3. Regarding 1971 I do not want to derail the thread by talking about it. If you a pro-Jamati extremist do insist on me talking about it I will, however I am very reluctant to speak about 1971 as it is a controversial topic.

4. Jamat e Islami are enemies of both Bangladesh and Pakistan and I cannot speak for Pakistan but what I can say for Bangladesh is that we are a moderate Muslim country with millions of Hindus, Buddhists and Christians and will work hard to combat extremists and terrorists.

Jamat e Islami are an anti-Bangladeshi, anti-western extremist organization that will never gain many votes in Bangladesh and at the most can be insignificant junior coalition partners.

I would like to remind you and other extremists (such as your friend Idune) that Bangladesh is a pro-western, moderate Muslim liberal democracy and will remain as such. Our security forces though not too happy with our incumbent prime minister firmly believe in the democratic process and will continue to ensure the stability of the country and combat extremists.
