You are right most probably your Arjun tanks will face our BTRs equivalent to T55s. As our MBTs will guard the Eastern hard grounds and Type 59/69s on semi hard middle grounds. But for that you will have to first cross the marshy riverine grounds which will bogged down much of your superior metal structures followed by ATGM ambush.

i dont think that drdo is stupid enough to test the the ajrun on a t55 which in essance is ancient. i would assume the "live fire" would be used to see how the ammunition reacts to a tank
