A private military group can actually be quite profitable if we play our cards right. There is a huge demand for private militaries in places like Yemen, Syria and many African nations. That's a bit of a problem. The last thing we need now is more military influence, be it in society, demographics or politics

I am sorry I didn't understand what you stated. Isn't Askari a bank?We already have Askari btw

Private military companies are considered ok whereas proxies like Iranian proxies and The Taliban are considered terrorists. I highly doubt that any major country will have any problem with our private military group operating in Africa.Could be hard to play our cards right with this option, especially with Iranian influence.
It's also likely that demand will be used greatly for Iranian proxies

Bro Askari Guards are a joke compared to companies like Academi(Blackwater) and Wagner Group. You are comparing bodyguards to powerful armies.Askari guards?
Highly doubt that. In fact, China would be more than happy to work with a private military group to take care of entities that hurt China's interests in Africa.Might have a problem with China.
They have a lot of investments in africa, and it's likely that the PMCs will be used alongside groups like Al Shabaab and other loonies- in other words a threat to chinese interests

That would get political.Highly doubt that. In fact, China would be more than happy to work with a private military group to take care of entities that hurt China's interests in Africa.
Wagner Group is making insane money right now. They are signing a lot of contracts in Africa right now. At the end of the day, Pakistan has every right to do what is in its interest and a private military will bring a lot of dollars to Pakistan if we play our cards right. I believe that having our own PMC will be immensely beneficial. I will make a separate thread on this topic and ask professionals about this. Also, PMC organisations tend to be affiliated with the interests of the government of the country that they are based in anyway.
Due to the power that the military has in PK, it could end up with a challenged hegemony, which would end the PMC org.
Or it would mean that Pakistan would start making more enemies wherever the PMCs tend to fight, due to affiliation with the country.
For example, Wagner fought all over the middle east. Most conflict with Russian boots on the ground in Syria are through Wagner, and it is essentially a proxy of the Russian government.
For this reason, the Russians are hated throughout the middle eastern people due to their military influence affecting the people even though they have had very few boots on the ground in reality.
Not necessarily, most of the African terrorist organizations are hated by both the West and China. But this works both ways. Getting a Pakistani PMC on the ground to fight for chinese interests causes a problem with the western bloc. There is always a lot of politics involved with PMC groups
there would be no difference between our actual military intervening and a "private" military intervening though, apart from maybe labels and sentiments.Wagner Group is making insane money right now. Partnering with Academi(Blackwater) is definitely possible. Academi should be able to benefit by working with our PMC.That would get political.
its like american defence contractors like Lockheed Martin, it's private but it needs permission from the US government who it can sell to and which countries and what products.
