Youths protest against democracy

Good post...
Pak-Marine... MQM is a traitor organization... Your opinions and comments dont hold much weight in any matter...

so according to your definition those millions (majority muslims) vote for MQM are traitors ,their opinion doesnt matter also they dont have any weight ..... whereas geniuses like you with no public mandate and are dreaming of implementing some foreign version of Islamic khilafat and sharia in the whole world have much weight ?? well all i have to say to you is this :hitwall:this :hitwall: and this :hitwall:

Khorasan(today Afghanistan) and Persia(today iran) were part of khilafat abasi and amavi, but we were not any better, they collected tax from us and sending it to baghdad without doing anything for the country. people revolted and got rid of the arabs for good, people like Abu Muslim Khorasani, Tahiryan, and Yaqobi Laith Safari were right to take us out of khifafa. khilafa is even more difficult in today's world with populatin and complications dozens of times more than before. a good unity, economical, political and cultural cooperation between muslim countries is good and more productive than khalifa.

These millions who want to separate Karachi from Pakistan should be treated like we treat TTP...

Whos the genius now...

oh personal attacks ...! its expected from your type. Yes i support MQM and one of the main reason why is becuase they are on the case of every one hallucinating about khilafat or sharia in pakistan

Look whos talking... personal attacks??

You honestly think that the system our Prophet saw gave to mankind and Abu Bakr, Umar, Usman and Ali RA were teaching suicide attacks...

Shame on you... If you are a Pakistani you are in the same category as the Taliban...

Oye Yar... Pak Marine... Dont talk too much...

Once you start seeing the heads of MQM rolling and being detached from their bodies... These millions who vote for MQM will suddenly disappear...

We should go for the leadership and heads of these snakes... and leave the followers to disappear later...

We have tried this strategy before... and it worked in the 80s and 90s to break the back of MQM...

I wound't go into details of discussing this group but below is what a member posted about HizbutTahr and I do agree what he said.

The Hizbu Tahreer is a joke...

I still remember them, when I became a supporter of the group for a little while...

We were called the KHilafah boys....There was a big sticker campaign all over London, which read "The Khilafah Is coming".

most of my non muslim friends thought this was some new type of gang...

They usually targetted the university/college crowd, and got into campus student unions.

They make their impression through their aggressive stance, and uncompromising speech. Base their arguments on greek logic, and try to talk 'intellectually' about how islam is an 'ideology'.

They have a skewed view of history...even an ignorance of history. Their pronouncements can be weird sometimes.

I still remember being told it is ok to watch pronography, as long as the intention is not to watch it with evil desire. They even conjured up a hadeeth to prove this.

Umar Bakri Muhammad was the leader of the HT(as we called it) in those days, before he left the group, and joined Al Muhajiroon...which has since been disbanded, and he fled the country.

They are an offshoot of Ikhwanul muslimeen, and claim to posthomously follow Taqiuddin an Nabhani,a Syrian Ikhwani originally from Palestine, i think. However, the group did not exist in Syria, and no one is aware who first propogated this group in the UK, as it suddenly appeared in campuses in the early 90's.

Former members of HT have suspected that the group was in itself a creation of the British INteliigence services, and there is evidence of at least some collusion between them. HT have never threatened Britain, nor have the British authorities ever done anything to stop, hinder, or dissuade this group.

Apart from allowing to watch pornography, in my day, the group also did not keep beards, nor the islamic dress code. They were very sharp dressers, usually wearing black coats, shades and gloves. Looking at an HT member, or going to one of their 'circles' one would think that you're attending a convention of the Jehovas Witnesses. Not a beard in sight. Not sure if that has changed recently.

After Qadyanis then Barelvis now HizbutTahrir in the outfit with British support are here to derail the true teachings of Islam and Jihaad.

LAHORE: Some 150 youths gathered at the Liberty roundabout on Sunday in a protest organised via social networking site Facebook, to demand that Pakistan scrap its democratic political system and replace it with an “Islamic” system of governance.

It was the third consecutive week that Youth 4 Change had organised a protest “against the democratic system and the American hegemony in Pakistan”. The protesters chanted slogans in support of Islam. They held placards and banners denouncing America and in support of Dr Afia Siddiqui, and in support for the protests in Cairo at Tahrir (Liberty) Square.

The protesters demanded the closure of all US embassies and consulates in Pakistan, an end to the war in Afghanistan, that Raymond Davis to be tried under Islamic law, that Dr Siddiqui be released, and that the armed forces of Pakistan obey Allah and the Holy Prophet (pbuh) and unite the Muslim Ummah under one caliph.

Junaid Khan, an engineering student at the National University of Science and Technology, said the protest was meant to push for change. “In Pakistan, democracy and dictatorship have been tried and failed. Now it is time to bring in an Islamic system. That is the only way for Pakistan to progress,” he said.

Farooq Qazi, who works in advertising, said it was time for Pakistan to stand up to America and protect its sovereignty.

He said that Raymond Davis case was not the core issue between the two countries, but that Pakistan was dependent on the US for aid.

He said that the Islamic system had been shown to work over the last 1,300 years. “Islam provides policies for all kinds of business. It cares for the rich and the poor,” he said.

Qazi added that there were a lot of misconceptions about Islam as a violent religion, but it was actually quite caring. “We should try an Islamic system,” he said.

this young people are very angry. but why they protest against democracy ? it is best system. just because they cant bring Davis to justice Pakistani govt has become bad? what military did for decades? they also would be not able to do bring Davis to justice.

I hate MQM for their militant tendencies but let's not insult those who support the party. MQM is the third largest party right now and people support them for a reason. They have certainly done a lot for Karachi and people like them for this reason and also for their liberal views.

As for that Jinnahpur controversy, it turned out to be a false allegation later on.

After spending hours on PDF,i just get one question in my mind, please don't mock at it and reply seriously:
Why is Islam a troubled religion?

stop reading wikipedia . your troubled understanding might get corrected.

we can say the same for hindusim. pick up the history and you will see alot of fights first among hindu gods/kings and later in shape of riots against Non-Hindu minorities in India.

What has more of a chance to create civil war in Pakistan? Have you forgotten 1971 civil war? Bengali nationalism. Beware of ethnic nationalists in Pakistan not those who place Religion first.

I absolutely agree with you that ethnic nationalism is bad. There was plenty of blame to go around on all sides for 1971 and, you're right, it was mostly ethnic bigotry and some politicians' egos.

A Muslim who places Islam first will never want to divide the Muslim Ummah more than it already is.

I will defend Islam as much as the next guy, but I will always give preference to a non-Muslim Pakistani over a Muslim foreigner.

Good post...

Bro Sohni... if you follow this idea then as a Pathan I should have huge problems with a Punjabi or a Sindhi as President...

Such support of Nationalism is poison...

True. I was referring to Pakistani nationalism or patriotism, not ethnic pride.

We should view ourselves as Pakistani first, not Sindhi, Punjabi, Balochi, Pakhtun, Muslim, Christian, Parsi, Hindu, etc....

They are not interested in autocracy or democracy but Mullo-cracy but forgot that mullocracy works when you have oil under your land. Empty slogans wont fill a hungry stomach.
Pakistan today is still suffering the aftereffects of Autocracy-Mullocracy cocktail made by Zia.

(anjum ch)He later met Omar Bakri Muhammad, and the two helped form the Islamist organisation, al-Muhajiroun. The group organised several pro-Islam demonstrations, including a banned protest march in London for which Choudary was summonsed to appear in court. Al-Muhajiroun was a controversial organisation, which was later disbanded following the UK government's decision to ban it. Choudary was present at the launch of its intended successor, Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaah, and later helped form Al Ghurabaa, which was also banned, before he became the spokesman for Islam4UK.
i dint find his link to H.T !!besides wat mohamad bin qasim said ..and h.t is beter than ANYOTHER org,it welcomes those who understand purpose of islam completely, and want to live according to islam! if this guy was in hizb it doesnt means that hizb is currupt or misleading, coz of an individual

because islam is "haq" it is the religion that ALLAH promised will spread over the world and all non muslims(not public) know this and through attacking on hijab, jihad etc they have created this propoganda but ALLAH ka deen to ghalib ho k rahay ga!!

Islam isnt going anywhere..
As long as bigots keep shouting "ham puraney hain"... So called clerics are more interested in whether the knees should show 4 inches or 3..
and people think god will reward them without any hard work..

God will reward all those that work their equal share..
If the non-muslims are working hard ..they will get their reward..
and if a Muslim guy is sitting on his butt.. expecting to make a million overnight..
he is an imbecile of the first order to think so.

Your prayers.. your fasts.. and your good deeds are for the hereafter and you will be rewarded for them there..
for this world.. your hard work is needed before a reward is given.
and understanding.. not jingoism..

my dear you are right. but you do not have any place to recognize the Islam but special task(TC) involve every were. no one remove islam Inshahallah but try to take the reality of Islam....
gala to ghontt dya ahla madrassa nai tera..
kahan sai ayee sada laillah illah....
