Youths protest against democracy

Firstly, please leave little childish comment about "no brainier" to yourself, if you want to discuss something lets be reasonable, I could see this as nothing more then another Democratic style living rudeness, abundent in you way of life.....so lets not go there.....

No Brainier=Common Sense it is not a rudeness so no need to take it as one.

Yes, many things, like punishment for death if death, that is not different then your championof Democracy the USA, then why the double standards....

I am not addressing capital punishment however what is being punished.

There are many rights for minorities and they are fully protected, if that was not the case, then many living descendents of Coptic Christians and Jews, and others alike would not be alive today in the Middle East and elsewhere, they would have been long dead......Yes there are differences in the fact that they cannot take part in the Shariah processing and fatwa deliverence in order to maintain the status quo of the ultimate Statute being Shariah and no chance of foul play being used.

Restrictions then are in place. This is also obvious from many countries as well.

You may wish to use the "Jizya" which many critics of Islam like using, yes it is there however, unlike the Muslims, the Jizya is for non-Muslims and far less then the Zakat that Muslims have to pay also......so that is out of the window....

I never addressed the tax system that can vary and isn't really an issue. I personally like across the board income taxing on all classes the most viable which is in line with equality.

Women have rights in Islam and this thread does not have the time or space to go through it, but in short, they can work, educate and go out, however Islam does not allow pornography or females dressing in a way which would naturally attract the oppposite sex, as is human instinct, and cause or bring unwelcome behaviour towards her.

I do hear this a lot but in reality human rights organizations across the board make it quite clear how overall rights in the ME are far below that of other areas. This varies of course from country to country but looking at ones with prominent populations like Iran and SA. Going into detail would take time but Freedom House: Women has a report on all the countries that is a interesting read of each one concerning their women rights. You can see how some tried to make reforms and give women more rights where others (Iran have taken rights away)

Also its interesting that you say "dress in a way that brings unwelcome behavior" it seems to me the level of self control that is present in men in the ME is almost none existent then in other areas and i find it interesting that this is in turn not blamed(even legally) on the person committing the act but instead on whether the women was too attractive. I guess completely covering yourself in a black sheet would certainly solve this in a very backward/obtuse type of way and completely miss the root problem.

Every year, in the US approximately 132,000 women report that they have been victims of rape or attempted rape, and more than half of them knew their attackers. It's estimated that two to six times that many women are raped, but do not report it. Every year 1.2 million women are forcibly raped by their current or former male partners, some more than once.

Rape is illegal and holds with it heavy sentencing and the U.S. population is like 310 million people. Are you saying women not covering themselves in turn produces rapists so its their fault sorry don't follow you on that ? Being a animal is all down to choice and trying to blame it on someone else just shows how much of a lowlife that person is.

This is what the Democratic system also brings with it......

Along with

Each year 100,000 women seek treatment in London for violent injuries caused in their homes in 1989

Quite a few women were raped just whilst I was writing this on this forum........

MORE TO COME

Domestic violence is extremely prominent in the ME and even viewed in many circles as normal so this point holds no value. Honor killings are also a form of domestic violence in the ME and the families that carry them out are always ones who are religious conservatives.

Jigs, following on from post #88, yes, by the end of the Ottomon Empire, at the dying stages of any Empire, panic, chaos and anarchy takes effect and in any dying Empire, the cause of its demise is the ills that have penetrated its system for decades which tends to grow, as was the case during the last decades of the Empire, they was utter chaos, there was no longer an effective Islamic system in place........dont blame Islam for that, it is the people who caused this chaos and its rulers, the Islamic system, when adopted had worked magnificently over the centuries........

I agree with all the other points about illiteracy and caste systems, and as such you too need to agree that this is not part of Islam, it is nothing to do with Islam....the Prophet PBUH in his very last sermon made that clear with no white being superior to a non white and no non white superior to a white just as such as no Arab being superior to a non Arab and vis versa.......please dont put blame where it is not due

IMO many of the Ottoman empires problems were because of the system however not all were. If you don't view it as such that is fine. There are many theories on what were key causes that led to the failure of the empire and they can vary greatly so i wouldn't just put it to the system and acknowledge that other areas could have played roles in the overall collapse. There is still the issue of today though and today does not look good for other systems but great for democracy. Even with the financial crisis.

No my friend,

You dont need to advise me in this regard... I have no intentions of slitting throats...

As for Democracy... Its a false God... It ll fall like all false Gods...

I m actually interested in something you just wrote... Pray tell us what has Zardari delivered to become the President? Or since becoming President...

Are you in competition for joke of the day??

If the choice is between Zardari and those who wish to implement khilafat i think i will go with zardari at least he doesnt train kids to become sucide bombers and murder his own nation ruthlessly ... doesnt abuse women and minority rights !

brother this organisation advocates military coups in Muslim countries for bringing change which is a flawed idea specially coming from an organisation which is working for throwing elected governments around the world and impose its system of governance.

the rational understanding is that while based in UK and other countries eating up their resources and planning a coup or change there makes them traitors

Any ideology that puts religion above nationalism is very dangerous because it can be used to create civil war and destroy a country. These people are dangerous because they are naive beyond belief. They will blindly follow an unscrupulous foreign leader, whom they believe to be the Khalifa, and kill every last Pakistani who opposes them. Their first loyalty is not to Pakistan but to their cause, and their ideology is downright treasonous.

Gazzi... You are probably not reading my comments carefully... I mentioned this person already in one of my posts... Mr Anjum Choudrey was thrown out (along with many others) from HuT more than 10 years ago... For exactly these reasons...

Its unfair to associate him and the likes of him with HuT when the party itself has removed these people due to their behaviour...

You are probably confusing a few groups with each other...

This is the real HuT...

Right... You need to pay a visit to a psychiatrist obviously...

Someone who associates Khilafat with suicide bombing obviously has his mind in the gutter...

Keep supporting Zardari... may you end up with him on the last day too... Khalas!!!

I keep forgetting... You are an MQM supporter... speaks for itself...

Again... accusations without proof...

Be just brother... fear God... You accuse a Muslim without proof against him, it can come around and give you grief on the last day...

This is not true... They do not believe in killing anyone... They believe that the Muslim blood is more precious than the Kabaa in Mecca... Kya Bat Kartay Ho Bhai... Kuch To Khuda Ka Khof Karo!!!

They believe in a pan-Islamic Khilafat, which means subjugating Pakistani sovereignty to a, possibly foreign, Khalifa. And they want the military to impose the Khilafat. What do they expect the military to do, except kill the opposing side?

And the part about 'Muslim blood' is easily circumvented. They will claim that anyone who opposes the Khilafat is not a true Muslim and is an agent of the enemies of Islam. That is why religion is a dangerous concept -- anyone who disagrees can be declared a non-Muslim and killed.

This is silly they are protesting the rulers, I'm not discounting that they won't demand Khalifah (also has democratic tenets) but "protesting democracy" is wrong.

After spending hours on PDF,i just get one question in my mind, please don't mock at it and reply seriously:
Why is Islam a troubled religion?

islam is not troubled, but its followers are troubled and stupid to be like this.

oh personal attacks ...! its expected from your type. Yes i support MQM and one of the main reason why is becuase they are on the case of every one hallucinating about khilafat or sharia in pakistan

Any ideology that puts religion above nationalism is very dangerous because it can be used to create civil war and destroy a country.

Well in Islamic Republic of Pakistan, nationalism is far more dangerous and has more of a chance to create civil war and destroy the country than placing Religion first.

Think about it, Pakistan is 97% Muslim. The 3% non-muslims in Pakistan will never fight the majority and will never create civil war, that'll be suicide for them.

What has more of a chance to create civil war in Pakistan? Have you forgotten 1971 civil war? Bengali nationalism. Beware of ethnic nationalists in Pakistan not those who place Religion first. A Muslim who places Islam first will never want to divide the Muslim Ummah more than it already is.

Such support of Nationalism is poison...

Pak-Marine... MQM is a traitor organization... Your opinions and comments dont hold much weight in any matter...
