There is this Adho Mukha Svanasana which is called Downward facing Dog pose in Yoga which is considered one of benefiting poses.

You need to check the postures in all steps are those of dog.

Had he said that one or two asanas in yoga where strikingly similar to the body movement of a dog i wouldn't have taken much offence. But that's not what he said. He said entire yoga exercises is nothing but body movement of a dog. I hope you understand the difference.
