Would Turks still be despised and blamed by Europeans if they were not Muslim

I been thinking this for some time,what if the Turks did not convert to Islam when they were gaining strength in Central Asia,later on to Anatolia but stayed as Tengrists or became Orthodox Christian's who would take over Constantinople,would you guys still be hated by Europeans,Greeks and other Balkan folks ?????

They would have been the true blue eyed ( favorite ) strike force of europe to conquer the muslim empire---.

All of asia except for russia and china and south east asia would be under the Turkish rule including the sub continent---egypt---Libya---sudan etc---.

I would say its mix of factors but mostly racial as for the Ashkenazi Jews they were almost despised during the Middle Ages,as crooks,spreaders of the black plague,and snobbish you had a lot anti Jew killings as for the Hungarians well they assimilated and very quickly into their surroundings

The UK only sees those two groups as cannon fodder only before during the Empire era,and sorta now when their use is up they will lumped with us as usual

I say the Turks would still be hated universally by the Europeans regardless of religion they practiced or preached it will be more subtle like their dislike of the Russians who they see as half breed Mongols

Not at all. It's almost always religiously motivated hatred. However, don't forget that Catholics were the first people to destroy the Orthodox Christianity of Constantinople (see Catholic Crusades).

I am aware of the hatred between Catholics,And Orthodox throughout the centuries Orthodox folks see Catholics complicit in the Turkish take over of Constantinople later on and the previous sacking of Constantinople by Catholics as well

My guess is they would still be consider to have 'Arab DNA'.

I make mention of this because Italians are not liked by neo-nazis in Europe because we are supposed to be all the product of Arabs raping Italian women. And this is so far from the truth, even Sicily (ruled by the Arabs) has very, very, very low Arab ancestry (and I am not talking about Middle Eastern admixture for nearly everyone in the Central to Eastern Med has migratory Bronze and Iron Age ancestry from the Greeks and Roman Empire). The thing about Turks, and why the world always will fear a strong Turkey has not a lot to do with religion. It has to do with the Turkic World. If Turkey gets stronger, they will be able to absorb Azarbeidjan. Knowing this, Iran has a lot to lose in their Northern provinces. Furthermore, a strong Turkey can gain easy control of central asia. And thus this is against Russias interest because Turkey will be able to get a foot in Russias soft underbelly (this explains Stalins moves in these countries). Even more, China will face difficulties in their Xianjan provinces in such a case and will be vulnorable in the West.

Hitler also stated that one of the biggest threats to Germany was a Turkey that was in control of Azarbaidjan.

If Turkey can ever control central asia, the worlds most important regions will be in Turkeys hands and as such Turkey will be the strongest country in the whole region. Thus it is also easy to see why the West is against this. If Turks where a stand alone people with no brethren in the neighbouring countries, other powers would have nothing to fear and Turkey would be left more or less alone. Religion has not much to do with it in my eyes.
