I'm sorry to say but a country which has 750-800 million people living in excruciating poverty and sleeping on hungry stomachs, can never command the world's respect as any kind of power beyond a sort of mafia underboss in the region. both Pakistan and India have problems of US interference, but we thankfully lack this horrendous situation of nearly 65% of our population struggling for a meal. that should be a serious wake up call and cause for shame to you guys, but rather we see most well off Indians (a miniscule minority) ignoring this and just boasting of their 'future status'. something's terribly wrong in your mindset, have you forgotten the socialism of nehru/maulana azad or even basic human compassion?
you will probably ridicule me, but if Indians were to accept the Sharia to govern daily life, not only would people be given full protection and freedom to practice their religion in its original form (i.e. without idol worship, other inventions by brahmin priests) but the minimum basic necessities of food, clothing and shelter are guaranteed by and for every citizen of the state, regardless of religion. it is the only true system based on a brotherhood of humanity. most have a misconception about Sharia because they think what they see in news truly represents it, but it doesnt and is only a distortion. it hasn't been implemented properly for over a thousand years. but when it is, it's the most beautiful thing on Earth.
