I think thats what people said about China
When I said the education was free I OBVIOUSLY meant for THEIR people....the expats are NEVER a part of the country...Even me being in EU I dont automatically get ANY rights! seriously, why the double standards? However, atleast in middle East expats get free to subsidized medical care....nowhere to be found for "expats" in the EU..you need to buy your own insurance plan...
China GDP per capita is just 6000. I do not think its comparable to the GDP per capita of ME countries.
For you ME may be better for expats. But the discussion is not about where the expats are better off, in EU or ME.
And to your point ME cannot continue with its welfare schemes if they accept citizenship like EU does.
and dont you think you should be thankful to EU to give you and your children the right to be their citizen once you have stayed there and worked for their region?
ME only cares about money and the work that an expat can do. They will never give citizenship even if someone and his next 10 generations are born in their country.
