yea. its already the no1 muslim superpower because of the 150 millin muslims being a part of india. today india and its muslims can kick butt of the entire islamic world put together. but we wont as we are also rightully a OIC member (but unfairly not included) and workng on it.

Pakistan offers much more freedom to women than Iran does, as a whole. Of course, there are parts of Pakistan, mainly near the Afghan border, which where women do suffer quite bad. But in a general sense, Pakistan is way ahead of Iran in women rights.

The book remains unadulterated. Though I agree that Islamic practices and more importantly Islamic concepts have been polluted in Sub continent. Concepts like Tawakul now mean exactly opposite of what they stood for.

I think Islamic World had produced enough super-powers from 7th to 18th century (Ummayad Empire, Abbasid Empire, Mughal Empire, Ottoman Empire) along with other strongest regional powers (Timurid Empire in Persia/Pakistan/India for example) etc...

Islamic World (if you insist on taking it as "one" civilization) enjoys the bestest success ratio in all human history..It remained on top for 71.3% of its entire history (1100+ years out of 1400 years)....Now, let us rest and develop economically, enjoy, and figure out our social problems...

Muslims should focus on spreading the message of Islam globally...

Mashallah, when it comes to first 1400 years of a religion, Islam has outclassed all other religions combined in global presence, number of followers, geographical spread, and historical Influence!!!... No religion in human history has proved as successful/influential as Islam has...

But you see, the "Americas" are still pretty much 'untouched'...Only 5-10 million Muslims in whole Americas..This is shameful!...Muslims must focus on spreading the message of Islam in Americas, China, and Europe etc...

Islam would love a 'neutral world' now and Mashallah, we ARE going towards a "neutral" world..While U.S fights with Islamic Insurgents..China closes the gap and global economic pendulum is swinging towards the East..

So status quo is perfect for Islam ..but only Shia-Sunni conflict needs to be resolved and Outside intervention in Muslim nations must be stopped...

lol..Who do you think was the number 1 super-power in say 13th century? 15th century? (when Ottoman Empire conquered Constantinople?) I agree about your cycle theory, but Islam filled the role of global super power not just in 8th/9th century but from 7th/8th century to 18th century..although the decline started in mid 17th century but it took another 100 years for West to decisively take over as the Ottomans remained strongest power till 18th century...

West decisively become number one in Mid 18th to 19th century and onwards (about 250+ years now)...and is already declining (probably 100 years more..but thats it! China/India will take over U.S in terms of economy, science, military (?) ) ......
