Seem to be pretty stupid(NDA) not to have ishihara cards to catch ur lying arse:rofl:
I had help with that. They were not as random as they were supposed to be. The line in front was long and there was some luck. That I passed. :D But truly I saw nothing in those cards. But answered right. :D :D

Bubbles don't bother me, but you just joined my ignore list-----------Just to be on the safe side.:p:

Nahi honestly i do enjoy such situations in a freaky kind of way. Back in 2005 i watched ' Dawn of the Dead' the day that devastating EarthQuake shook entire Pakistan. And the post apocalypse scenario was so something to relate to----In a sense there was fear everywhere.
are u into these post apocalyptic thingy? me too in some ways :p: love watching tv shows like the walking dead, the 100, falling skies and others. zombie apocalypse is one of my favourite genres, recommend some good stuff if u are into these things

I like sci-fi, mostly hard sci-fi like stuff from Neal Stephenson, Kim Robinson, Alastair Reynolds and ilk but sometimes get the Z fix too. Last good book i read on that was World War Z.

As for post apocalyptic stuff - Wool is fantastic and if you want a classic then the The Road by Cormac McCarthy is good

I have seen all the zombie movies there are to be seen. Are you watching 'Fear the walking dead' and 'Z Nation'? They are not as good as The Walking Dead thou.

Joe hates all who do not agree with him. His knowledge of Hinduism has never been a topic of discussion. I doubt it is good as he has repeatedly dismissed the entire 'thing' as 'superstitious nonsense'. Something he has not extended to other faiths. BUT EVEN that is not the issue.

It's like He is the sole Righteous Among us Indians.

And nobody 'needs' to respect him.
Sarthak, I follow his posts regularly. I do not agree at all with what you said. If the poster disagreeing with him possess a good grip on what he/she is talking about, Joe is an excellent read. 'Superstitious nonsense'!! Again I disagree. In 2012, just after my joining this forum he referred me an excellent book on Indian mythologies. Superstitious nonsense does not make one interested to read such classy writings.

His responses are the problem. His refusal to reform is the problem. His stubborn reluctance to treat others as human beings is a problem. His pathological hate for his ideological opponent is a problem.

Refusal to reform? What for and beyond whom? Those who defended Babri and Dadri? You must be joking!!

If India was truly defined by the likes of Joe, we would have a gentler form of an uniform Stalinist state (minus the centralized economy) where everyone think alike (and the rest rot in jails).

I think it is the otherwise. If people stop thinking like him, sooner or later we will turn into a society where blind faith instead of reasoning will dominate the political decisions, the academic institutions and may even the Science congress.

Btw, Shuvo Bijoya. :)

Subho bijoya to you and family. You are catching up the accent very quickly. :p:

I honestly don't know where all this ill feeling for Mr @Joe Shearer has come from and that is has got to the point that it demands its own thread is mind boggling to me.

Every interaction I have had with him has been positive and I always found him kind-hearted, considerate and warm and worthy of the respect he was shown.
