Actually there are members of parliament who are openly gay.. But it's not a widely spoken or controversial subject in the island.. 'People just accepts it, Even though in the archaic colonial laws still practiced homosexuality is still illegal.. I think India is a more tolerant society when it comes to sexual orientation in the whole region

Sri Lankans in general are similar to Keralites than any other region.. In most aspects, Quality of life, food, culture and even geography.. Anybody who have traveled to both can attest to this.. Actually there is a significant community of Malayalees in the island..

this srilankan guy boasting about malayalam....i"ll say one thing.....malayalam came from pure tamil....i.e sangam tamil......until 14th century malayalam was using tamil scriptures....do some research about malayalam....south india and most part of south east asia was ruled by chera,chola.pandya,pallava dynasties....todays anghor in myanmar and various temples in cambodia and thailand and other places were built by tamils....because of the dynasties exploring ...u can find tamilians still in westindies and indonesia..

lots of tamilians .....iam not saying tamilians who got settled 200 years back....they were all settled 1000 years back....

North India mainly Hindi speaking states never been accommodating to people of other languages. They just want everyone to learn Hindi to communicate with them. South is more accommodating and friendlier according to your logic. By any way Soouthern states are tolerating Hindi but will it ever been the case for north? NO

If this was the case then India would have broken apart a long time ago. There are people of all states in Delhi and other North Indian cities for example and all of them speak amongst each other in their own language which is more than just tolerated but also encouraged.

People like you should be ashamed for trying to drive a wedge between South and North Indians. Divisive forces like you have always been an asset for enemies of this nation throughout history.

Thankfully, I know enough South Indians who don't have this burning hate towards North Indians to believe that you are amongst a few.

Being proud of one's language is great but denigrating an entire section of your countrymen and painting them all in such a way is absolutely shameful.

I'm more patriotic and concerned citizen of India and I know it. Your theories all based on your assumptions so try to get some real sense. Even my room mates are north India so don't try to BS around me with your divisive theories.
