Why are Jews so much advanced ?

or you can go as far as babylonians

the muslims found and made use of it, and developed it, algebra is one of the basic forms of mathematics, it is also applied in calculus

muslims also worked on many things which you arnt even aware of, europeans used their knowledge and developed their own knowledge based on muslims, ibn e sina was called avesina, gabin ibn hyan was called gaber etc

all the work muslim put was transfered to europe after islamic and european contact and hence industrial revolution, if there were no muslims, the europe would have remained in the dark ages
Now these are 2 nonsensical statements that is going to be heavily contested.
1. Algebra - applied in Calculus ? If so how, solving simultaneous equations and/or quadratic equations is still Algebra. If you had taken high school math, calculus begins with where algebra ends at - summations and trigonometry. And these were invented far before any Theocratic Golden Age came into play, when humans were still pagans in the form of greeks. In that sense, the Islamic Golden age could see the horizon because it was sitting on the shoulders of the Greek giants.

2. Never assume that IF the Islamic Golden age did not come through, then human rationale and his tendency to explore would have stopped. Knowledge propagates through Man's eternal quest to seek answers. If not for Islam, then someone else would have come.

The pie of the Islamic Golden Age in the modern context has lost its relevance, to being considerably irrelevant. Alkali and Alchemy do not drive a major major part of the modern world any more, Neutrons, Protons-Electrons, Photons, Bosons and Quarks do. So unless people come out of this belief system, the Islamic World will remain largely irrelevant in the world of Science.

noble prize banana aur khud ko he dena dont seem fair but un scientist ne modern science ki foundation rakhi ..I think intelligence is not genetic..its all about opportunities abdul salam, abdul kalam, Dr qadir got these opportunities in western land and proved themselves
opportunity like obama...................:azn:

Agar duniya par meri hukumat hai to main khud hi prize announce karke khud ko nominate kar doongi.

Again read this before talking about relevance of science in islamic golden age with modern science. please give some time for reading

you entire load of rants and bullshitt, muslims did contribute to science which remains a fact and doesnt change with your bullshitt, one might say that today in the age of digital electronics so all the analogue machines which were invented before becomes irrelevant??

the knowledge keeps expanding and the base which was founded on becomes a minuscule, but itself it doesnt become irrelevent

if you look at the period from greeks to further it was only muslims that after one and a half millennium started working where the greeks had left and built on that knowledge

discarding such a contribution to nothing is a stupidity

how small muslim contribution was but they started a legacy which was used by the europeans, it maybe indians, or it might be chinese, but they werent, give the credit where it is due

as regards to your upper statement, you are right, i got confused trigonometry with algebra which i accept

You have a very eurocentric view. Algebra was learned by the arabs from India. Pythagoras theory was discovered in India hundred of years before the greeks did. Research before you talk.

It was the Hindu-arabic numeral system which resulted in alot of the maths we have today

Indian mathematicians and discoveries in trigonometry
Duration: 02:20

Marcus du Sautoy visits an ancient Indian observatory, and explores how Indian mathematicians used trigonometry to make celestial observations. Using examples in right angled triangles, du Sautoy looks at how it can be worked out how much further the sun is from the earth than the moon.

where did you get that 20% statistics??

anyway, jews are organised and while living in the west they are not only with modern thinking but they have some characteristics like family, which gives organisation to life, which we think is eastern and not western

if jews werent organised and united then they would have lost their identity thousands of years ago

From here
The Nobel Prize is an annual, international prize first awarded in 1901 for achievements in Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, Literature, and Peace. An associated prize in Economics has been awarded since 1969.[1] Nobel Prizes have been awarded to over 800 individuals,[2] of whom at least 20% were Jews, although Jews comprise less than 0.2% of the world's population.[3]

Jews have been recipients of all six awards. The first Jewish recipient, Adolf von Baeyer, was awarded the prize in Chemistry in 1905. As of 2012, the most recent recipients were Robert Lefkowitz (Chemistry) and Serge Haroche (Physics), and Alvin E. Roth (Economics) who were awarded their prizes in 2012

Jews are just being over compensated for the genocide they suffered- over ratted-

If genocide is the only criteria then Rwanda,Cambodia,Bosnia and Herzegovina , Sudan should also get 10-20% of Nobel prize.

Why is it hurt your ego ?

For your ego satisfaction

P.S. If you search on google with "List of jewish nobel laureates", you would find tens of links.

It's not about religion per se. If you look at specific subcultures within Muslims, Bohras, Aga Khanis, etc., they do exceptionally well as a group -- comparable to Jews, Parsis and Jains.

Smaller communities tend to do better compared to huge globs of people simply because their organizational tentacles cover most of the community, and also because intra-community awareness (peer pressure) forces people to behave better. It's the same reason people in small villages are better citizens than anonymous people in large cities.

There is one other factor they work among themselves for example a Jewish guy will use a fellow Jewish lawyer or accountant etc they keep the money in their own community that is very important also.

That's a very politically incorrect thing to say. (I didn't say it isn't true, and many small ethnic/religious subgroups behave this way.) Be prepared to be called anti-Semitic for pointing out inconvenient facts like this.

What a Logic to win nobel prize ?

If your logic to be followed then tribal societies like Jarawa ,Baloch etc must also win nobel prize, because entire life they work among themselves.

these countries are nothing- no significant reference to the two main religions- thats the difference-

Your spot on there Developero the smaller communities do tend to perform better like the Parsis and Jains who seem to thrive in business and in particular playing the stock market but why do they? that is one for sociologist to answer I have no idea on that.
