Why are Jews so much advanced ?

How much noble prize Christians won? What about Chinese? would you say they are not intelligent if they had not won more noble prize after considering their huge population? Answer is no they are still intelligent/clever people. Islam is not as ancient religion as Judaism, Christianity or Hinduism and its all about great emphasis on education and getting opportunities of quality education and polish your brain. Knowledge and money are two powerful weapons but what noble prize has anything to do with Judaism/Islam/Hinduism ? Did Jews won more noble prize because of their religion? Most of them have been American Jews or probably atheist/agnostic in their beliefs. People get noble prize because of their hard work, personal efforts and dedication with science, arts and literature and it has nothing to do with their religion/ethnicity :)

which religion gives more importance to Education and progressive thinking?

BTW, There are two kinds of jews reformed and orthodox and there are in between.

Also most of south Asians share 20% genes with Jews!!! There was a documentary on TV about religious head of USA. One of Imam from south asia got his genetic coding done ! thats how they found out!

Most of the scientists are Atheist/agnostics...

Good reply Brah. Thats exactly I was going to say. Btw just to let you know that jews have a very strong belief that if they don't make themselves the contributing member of the society they will be killed. This is because the genocides they have suffered all their history.

Were noble prize existed at that time when Muslims were at their peak in sciences(physics, chemistry, maths, medicine), literature and philosophy(called golden period of Islam) and Europe were in the dark?

First nobel prize was awarded in 1901 when Muslims/hindus got decline in every department and europe got all access to world class facilities and opportunities of knowledge and research

woh uss time ke musalman logon ki galati thi ke unn logon ne nobel prize jaisa koi recognition nahi rakha.

Thanks and at theological level, core beliefs of jews are not much different than others two Abraham religion Christianity or Islam. I agree hardship and suffering can bring best out of you if you were given opportunities

If you can give me even a 10% positive correlation on the Laws of Motion, Keplerian laws of Orbital Motion, Calculus, The Laws of Thermodynamics, Laws of Fluid Dynamics ad infinitum with mathematical rigor, then i am willing to accept that the Golden period of Islam indeed did contribute which is valid in the modern world. Heck, Islamic notions of the geocentric model was hand in glove with the Church until Copernicus came along, and while Galileo may have been absolved, there is still no debate in the Islamic world on laws of nature or on rational thought.

So, The Islamic Golden age, is what we call for lack of a better word, a theory rooted in beliefs at best.

ever wondered where the word 'algebra' comes from or 'alkali' comes from or 'camera' comes from?

since hindus werent able to do anything in the history of the world doesnt mean everybody else other than west europeans failed

the foundation stone of oxford university was laid down by a man who travelled all the way from britain to muslim spain in search of modern knowledge

and this is taken from wikipedia

Several Muslim astronomers, such as Ibn al-Haytham, Abu-Rayhan Biruni, Abu Said Sinjari, Najm al-Dīn al-Qazwīnī al-Kātibī, and Qutb al-Din al-Shirazi also discussed the possibility of heliocentrism.

The foundation laws of Algebra were laid long before by the Greeks ; Eratosthenes and Pythagoras. But that was kids stuff. The foundation of Mathematics has Algebra as a minuscule component as compared to Number Theory, Real Analysis and the boom during the Annus Mirabulus by Newton-Leibnitz giving way to Calculus and the like. The contributions in solving real-world equations come from these.

From jewish discussions, how we reach Islam-Hindu crap? :hitwall:
It is not the value of the Nobel prize, but the contribution of science in the modern-world per se. This was never intended to be a theocratic discussion, merely discussing the proportion of relevance the modern-day Math has with different eras.

I appreciate all scientists because of their work for mankind no matter which race/religion/ethnicity they belong but your ignorance about islamic golden age is great..here is some lists for you to read and then come back

or you can go as far as babylonians

the muslims found and made use of it, and developed it, algebra is one of the basic forms of mathematics, it is also applied in calculus

muslims also worked on many things which you arnt even aware of, europeans used their knowledge and developed their own knowledge based on muslims, ibn e sina was called avesina, gabin ibn hyan was called gaber etc

all the work muslim put was transfered to europe after islamic and european contact and hence industrial revolution, if there were no muslims, the europe would have remained in the dark ages

noble prize banana aur khud ko he dena dont seem fair but un scientist ne modern science ki foundation rakhi ..I think intelligence is not genetic..its all about opportunities abdul salam, abdul kalam, Dr qadir got these opportunities in western land and proved themselves
