Why a dictatorship is better than democracy for Pakistan.

Thats not true, the Judicial system has been in shambles for decades. I will give you my personal example. My Grandfather bought a piece of land in Karachi in the late 1950s, but the guy who sold the land also sold the same plot of land to another guy. We have been fighting the case since and its still not resolved. My grandfather has passed away and so has the guy that sold the land. The only person that is still alive is the other guy who bought the land but he is quite old and has dementia, so he doesn't remember much. Only my eldest cousin is fighting the case as the rest of us have given up and moved on.

My family has a similar issue.

Stupid air force pilot sold us some land, took the money and then sold it to someone else. Been fighting the case for several years now, not resolved. However, there has been some progress and the guy got a pretty good hammering from the military, so RIP his career.

Unfortunately neither democracy or dictatorship has worked in Pakistan because both were done in a half *** manner. The so called dictators tried to be Democrats rather than really use their power and do what needed to be done. Our so called elected champions of democracy acted as elected dictators, claiming their elected mandate gave them the unquestionable right to do what they wanted. Any check and balance on their power was brushed away as being undemocratic.

So, one cannot just blame the politicians or army. Both are to blame as is society for their ignorance and willing to accept this again and again.

With that said let's get one fact straight, like it or not Pakistan exists because of its strong military deterant. Had the country been left to politicians alone it would long have been checked into the dustbin of history.

Secondly democracy does not mean unchecked power to do what you want. It requires a system of checks and balances on all institutions which lacks in Pakistan.

Third, we live in a new world today. It is not the same world where democracy evolved over centuries in the UK or other European countries. We do not have that luxury..i do not need to explain why...if you need an explanation then you are an intellectual basket case and beyond help.

Pakistan needs a strong presidential system with checks and balances. It needs professionals running the country. Enough has been written and said about this. Our politicians do not want this because how will they loot and plunder then?

Who will bring this change, the politicans...no...the people...no...they are ignorant and uneducated and lack foresight. The judiciary, no because they are bound by the constitution. That only leaves the army, which does not want to get involved...until you have a general perhaps will be willing to act as a true dictator and bring in that change whether overtly or covertly. Until then Pakistan shall remain a rudderless ship.

Maternal uncle died in useless 1965 war which was started by us. 1971 was even more pointless as Bangladesh should have been independent from day 1.

The Hindustanis crossed the official border in 1965 first.

If you really insist on calling the prior incursions into Kashmir as starting the war, they were done to liberate Kashmir and were a response to Hindustan starting skirmishes along the border.

Did we start 1971? No, and our nation almost crumbled from it, it's only because of brave men like Shabbir Sharif that West Pakistan didn't fall like the East did.

We provoked India 1965 in IoK by sending few soldiers in shalwar kameez and pretending they were militants. They were not going to liberate IoK. Should have joined China in 1962 if we were that desperate to liberate IoK and clearly alone we can't beat their many times larger army. After that India was looking to poke their noses in Pakistan affairs and ghaddhar bengalis gave them that opportunity.

Hindustan provoked us by starting skirmishes along the border prior to our covert operations in Kashmir.

They were just the initial steps, they would have eventually been supported properly in order to completely wipe out Hindustani control of Kashmir. Unfortunately, they were not able to complete their operations successfully, and Hindustan reacted by starting a war (which they still lost).

Yes, we should have done something in 1962 but shills in power listened to JFK's cries for Pakistan to not budge, promising us he would make sure the matter would be resolved (lying monkey).

Sure few thousand soldiers in militants cloths were going to wipe out Indian army in IoK, brilliant idea who ever came up with that. Just like Musharraf 1999 Kargil war.

Did you read what I said? They were meant to incite a rebellion, not start a total conquest of the area. After the rebellion was instigated, the Pakistani military would have then sent in more soldiers to take the area.

The Kargil War was Musharaf's own little PR stunt so he could get a good image in front of the public before he launched his coup. He also probably just wanted an excuse to kill some Hindustanis. Anyway, we took point 5353 and killed far more Hindustani soldiers than vice versa, why does it bother you? We won.

Indian agression carries on till this day. The leaders of India wanted to vent out their agression of the 1962 war onto Pakistan. We showed them what they deserved anyways
